Description

Lord Wishock, like all men, has his weaknesses. His happens to be a fondness for liquor. The hypocrisy is astounding. The trite fool spends his days trying to shut down our little "tavern" while his nights are spent upstairs, running up a bill he never pays. Well, let's see how Wishock likes this special brew I have prepared for him: Black Claw stout. It's got quite a kick, <name>.

Take it to him and see how he likes it. Most likely the old fool is milling about the Hall of Petitioners.

Make sure you go back to Zardeth of the Black Claw to actually finish up the quest [You Have Served Us Well]. It won't tell you to do this but you get a decent Cloth helm for doing so.

What you get for Warlock only, is Dread Mage Hat.
&nbsp A 35 Armor +7 Int, +7 Spi hat that looks like a black witch hat.
&nbsp Not bad, but I prefer my Aurora Cowl.

As of today (February 4th, 2006), as a warlock you can still go back and get the next part of the quest which gives you a hat.

Warlock is just another term of use.

On Feb. 11, I completed the quest and got the hat.&nbsp Just under 5,000 xp and 50 silver for my efforts, and I had to kill a total of two mobs during the whole quest...not bad I say.

I completed this at 26 after accidently coming across the root in Wetlands while killing gnolls.

In Duskwood if you come to Stalvan's garden from behind (or die and res near the back) you can take the ghouls 1 at a time from that side of the garden. Otherwise you aggro Stalvan and wipe.

Nice hat for a 26 Warlock.

After Lord Wishlock has died and you run back to the Slaughtered Lamb to tell Zardeth, he will tell his imp to give you this item the Dread Mage hat. This hat looks fantastic as it's an archetypal "witchy" pointed hat!
