Description

This shard holds great secrets; it is the pure essence of the Emerald Dream. However, what I see in this shard is not a dream; one would call this sort of a vision a nightmare.

I do not wish to alarm you, <name>, but I think it is best if you deliver this shard into the hands of a wise druid as soon as you can.

Hamuul Runetotem on Elder Rise is who you need to find. Head to Thunder Bluff. I cannot say more.

Falla Sagewind is located at the top of the mountain where the Wailing Cavern of the Barrens is. To get this quest, you need to wipe every mob and bosses in the Wailing caverns instance. That allows you to awake the Druid Naralex, which in turn spawns the final boss ... a Morlock. The morlock drops a gem shard. When you click it in your inventory it gives you "In Nighmares" quest. You take this gem to Fella Sagewind. She asks you to take this Shard of the Emerald Dream essence to Hammul Runetotem -- who you can find at the biggest tent of the Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff (Mulgore). THE GUY WHO SAID THIS IS RIGHT! U MUST COMPLETE WC TO GET THE QUEST!

Falla Sagewind is located on the top of the mountain, at Wailing Caverns. You'll have to complete the whole instance and talk to a guy called the Disciple of Naralax. You get the quest "Glowing Shard" from Disciple of Naralax. You must go to Ratchet and talk to Sputtervalve. When you talked to him you go to the mountain where Falla Sagewind is.

Falla Sagewind is at: 48.32!

Now: Go Go Go, get the best twink shoulders.
  • Dampbarnet.
  • 60 Paladin.
  • Deathwing.

First You have to do is Kill the last boss in Walling Caverns, (speak to the Disciple of Naralax after you have killed the other bosses)then you will get this Glowing Shard, first you can go to Sputtervale in Ratchet or get to the big mountain on top WC, there from you get the quest "In Nightmares", wich you hand in at Hamuul Runetotem, he is located at "Elders Rise"

after you talk to her, she'll have an exclamation mark over herself, with a new quest taking you to thunder bluff. When you complete that quest, you get the reward.

I went there and talked to the dockmaster about this and nothing happend. Then i went to the npc on top of WC mountain and no question mark was there even tho i have teh required shard... what gives?

Okay, this quest is listed as being a "Horde" quest, but the prerequisite quest is an "Alliance" quest. Seems somewhat erroneous, yes?

This was marked as an orange quest after I looted and "opened" the shard in level 22. however, as stated above all you need to do is talk to a goblin in Ratchet who sends you to a druid near Wailing Cavern who sends you to a druid in Thunder Bluff. Done. No killing and no looting after you have killed the Murloc in the instance.

From what i have heard you need to completely empty all mobs and bosses in Wailing Caverns in order to awaken Naralex, which in turn will spawn a final boss who will drop the nightmare shard -starting this quest.
