Description

I do not wish to alarm you, <name>, but I think it is best if you deliver this shard into the hands of a wise druid as soon as you can...

Mathrengyl Bearwalker in the Cenarion Circle is who you need to find. Head to Darnassus. I cannot say more.

The Talbar Mantle are awesome Twink shoulders for cloth wearers.

For the Alliance.

Get someone to Run you through Wailing Caverns.
You need to kill all serpent lords, and then speak to the Tauren druid at the beginning of the instance itself (rather than the cave).

Then follow and protect the Tauren.
Then when it goes to the sleeping person, it will begin it's magic.
And you need to protect it for 3 waves of enemies.
The first is Deviate snake thingies
the second is slime monster thingies
and the third is a giant silver Murloc.
Defeat him, and pick up the glowing shard.

You then want to open the quest that the Glowing shard has.
you need to go to Ratchet and speak with the goblin near to the flight path goblin. he will tell you to take the shard to a Tauren Lady (Falla Sagewind) on top of the mountain that Wailing Caverns is under.
(not the cave room above the entrance to Wailing Caverns)

Speak to her, and she will tell you to go and speak with a Night Elf druid trainer Mathrengyl Bearwalker.
and he gives you the reward.

confirmed, its just 2000xp for level 19. Was abit nervous too cos i have like 3500xp to ding. took my chances. Just wanted to let the other twinks know so they wont sweat like i did.

P.s: 2000xp is just for IN NIGHTMARES quest only, you get 2650xp when u turn in the glowing shard to the tauren druid on top of the mountain above wailing cavern.

Hey i know now how to do this..
This is for the allaience twinks:
you just kill all the spesial mobs in WC
(the 4 humanoids that you get a quest to kill at the horde side.) then you go back to the start and speak with the druid that gives you MOTW. (druid buff) if you press the talking senates that you now can do he will start to walk. Follow him to the final place in the cave and kill the lv 22 Murlock boss he drops this quest.
After that go to ratched.
speak with the person showed on this place
(or the one next to the fly master)
then go to cord: 48.33
the last part is to deliver it in Darnassus.
GL all if you understand it it is very easy!&nbsp :P

The trick is for twinks to take a high lvl to clear the palce and you stay waaay back so u dont get any XP at all..I did the whole of bfd for the wand for my priest and got NO XP at all.

Unless somethings changed recently these shoulders/boots are BOP so u cant buy them and you cant sell them,

and it's a huge long time to get the whole Wailing Caverns done. And you need really empty bags if you're going to do it solo or with only one friend (I did it with one friend both of us hunters)

It's a long way to get through the caverns, and we were pretty exhausted by the end. I can happily not look at a raptor for the next couple weeks, I think. We took the glowing green shard to Ratchet, then after we were directed back to the druid on the top of the hill. Finally, we got the quest from her. I had tried previously and like others she hadn't spoken to me. After Wailing Caverns, she did.

You get well paid in greens for your time and effort though. Good AH fodder and nice vendor prices for the soul bound bluestuff. And 250 Darnassus reputation for turning in the druid's quest at the end of it all.

I tried to do this quest. I found her at te top of the mountain at the shrine of the warrior, but she would not communicate. So I could not get the quest. This was on Turalyon. My level is 31 Night Elf.

Are there more Alliance people having this problem?

There is a Horde version of this quest as well. Falla Sagewind, the tauren that tells you to talk too Mathrengyl Bearwlker tells Horde players to talk too Arch Druid Hamuul Runetotem for finishing the quest. It's the same rewards too.

Just a note: the quest description there is only for alliance. For the horde, I think you need to talk to someone on elder rise in Thunder Bluff. If you don't know where to get the shard, it's like this:
1. Clear out Wailing Caverns. That means all the bosses plus Verdan the Everling.
2. Talk to the lv. 30 elite tauren at the start of the instance. He'll say something about awakening some dude.
3. Escort the tauren through the first section of the caves. You'll pause occasionally to defend him from spawning enemies.
4. The tauren will turn left into a large alcove. You should see a night elf lying on a pedestal with green fires everywhere.
5. The tauren will start a spell to awaken his friend. During that time, there will be three waves of enemies that come from the pool. First one is four elite naga things (forgot the names). Second wave is about ten non-elite sludge dudes. The third wave is the biggest murlock you will ever see. It's level 18 I think. Anyway, the shard drops from him.
