An Unwelcome Guest

Martie Jainrose of Lakeshire wants you to kill Bellygrub. Bring her his tusk as proof.
Bellygrub's Tusk

Description

Once again my garden was trampled and pillaged. And I know the brute who is doing it. It's that forsaken boar, the one Marshal Marris has taken to calling Bellygrub.

I won't be able to re-plant the daffodils until next season now. Ruined! All ruined by that one menacing boar. Put an end to that pest! Show me his tusk and I'd be happy to reward you. He seems to spend his time foraging in the field southwest of Lakeshire but occasionally he roams over here and into my garden.

He spawns at exactly 15,49

For those who don't have cosmos or some loc mod for their game, go directly west of where you get the quest, through her garden and down the hill a bit.

This is an incredibly easy solo quest as there is nothing else around Bellygrub, so it's just you and him.&nbsp He's a lvl 24.

Note: Bellygrub has a SLOW repop, so if you don't find him immediatly, be patient and allow him to repop.

Word of advice to hunters: tame Bellygrub, he makes an awesome pet, for MM at least and probably other specs as well.

When leveling a marksman spec hunter it's extremely important for your pet to hold aggro from your ranged DPS; if your pet loses aggro, fights can go from 'afkshot for a few seconds, then loot' to 'sacrifice pet just to get away alive' very quickly.

Boars are the only pets in the game at the moment with Charge, which makes the pet rush toward the target, immobilizing it for a quick second. Charge also increases the pet's attack power for the next attack by a lot, and given the way Growl works, the boar will typically charge the enemy, taunt, and instantly have around 1k-1.5k threat - basically, you wouldn't be able in most cases to pull aggro off of your pet from then on before the enemy dies.

Boars can also learn Gore, which is an instant, zero-cooldown focus ability that does damage (also known as a focus dump) that will make talents like Go for the Throat well worth getting. They can also get Bite (a 10-sec cooldown damage ability) and Dash (which shares a cooldown with Charge, so it's not that great). They also have decent health and armor.

Once you've got decent ranged damage, all you really need to watch for is the occasional resist on the first taunt and the mobs around you and your pet.

Bellygrub comes with Charge and Gore automatically, and you won't be able to get another rank of either until around level 50. Learn Bite from a spider in Arathi Highlands around level 32 and you're set for a long time...

Bellygrub hits hard!!! if you can look for others in the area to do this quest with... She's a lvl 24. Sure the reward isnt much to look at but hey its yet another easy Bliz quest... Pretty tough solo unless your well above lvl 24... She's located just behind the garden where you get the flowers for the other quest here...Re-spawn time is roughly 3-5 min just in case you come in on others doing the quest...

Got him on my second try with my 21 hunter and 19 boar, no potions/scrolls, just a fire trap and timely healing of the pet.&nbsp Pulled him back into the trap, slowed him as he charged me, the rest is history.&nbsp Was REALLY close though.

The lady mentions the pig spends time SW of the lake, but he never seems to go there. He spawns North of the lake near the NW corner.

I solo'd Bullygrub with my lvl 22W...he gave me a fight, but I didn't need any potions or buffs to finish the job.&nbsp Just hit him with my Thunderclap to slow his attacks, and then Sunder Armor as much as possible, and he went down fine.

You dont need coords. The stupid pig is on the east side of the lake. When you accept the quest, keep walking.

bellygrub is a distinct looking pig, bigger and darker than the others.

I soloed this Pig a l Warlock lvl 19. Died first time.

The second time it did go good :). I drank a beer which gave me +3 stamina, Hey! It wasn't red anymore!

So.. Dotted, then used Wand (dealed more dmg over time than shadow bolt). Got more aggro than Void ''Jok'umon'' so feared it and doted more..

Then when he attacked again, sacrificed void, doted more, feared.. Then he died that ugly pig.

Going to put the flowers on his corpse.

1950xp and 100 stormwind rep at 19

not sure why site likes to divide xp by 10 and then sometime it rounds the result so you are never sure what the reward is as exactly as you could be unless there is one of these posts telling you

And you will find Bellygrub just behind the garden of the lady, in the kind of corner, the location is 15,59. I solo him with my 21 night elf hunter, I send my pet on it them I start shooting arrows and before my pet dies, I use mend pet and I just restart this technique until he dies. The Bouquet is for no use, you can just sell it to a vendor for about 5 to 6 silver.

Soloed as lvl 22 warrior. Went to the left of the building to get ingridients for the goulash, not even thinking about this quest and saw the hog right away. Killed him fast, but was almost dead. Worked out pretty good though , droped the tusk the first time, went right back and finished the quest. It is lvl 24.

it is worth making this quest, the "pig" is strong and hits hard but bouquet you get is real cool and for the peoples who play on RPG servers this item may come into use in the future.
Youst look out so you have enoth mana and HP when you starts the fight if you ar under the recomende level, or this fight can be impossible!
