Description

Inside the temple, I found a circular room with six balconies, each one with a serpent statue on the edge. Curious, I pushed one of them to see what would happen, and it was a trap! I nearly fell to my death from the explosion. Laying there on the ledge, I looked down and noticed that there was another statue at the base of the room; an altar of sorts... Hakkar, I think it was called.

I think that this altar is the secret -- you must bring this token to the altar in the Sunken Temple.

[1]First of all u need to go to Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas and speak to Angelas Moonbreeze, a NE npc...He gives a q by the anme of "The sunken temple". This q needs u to go to Tanaris and Speak to Marvon Rivetseeker, a goblin npc.

[2]When u go to Tanaris, and find Marvon Rivetseeker at 52,45 .He is next to the Broken Pillar ruins. He gives the q "The stone circle". This q needs u to go to Ratchet ( The barrens ) and retrive his stone.

[3]U take the ship from Booty Bay(STV) to Rachet.The stone is in the chest, outside the first building(it's a goblin hut) on ur left when u get of from Rachet docks...Inside the building is a goblin by the name of Liv Rizzlefix(irrelevant)

[4]U get back to Tanaris to return the stone to Marvon Rivetseeker. When u return the stone, both q "Secret in the circle" and "into the depths" are available...

A rogue can manage this quest solo but expect to die if you make a mistake.

Enter the instance, take the right hand path down to the Pit of Refuse. The Altar of Hakkar is right there.

When you click on it of course you lose stealth and if a lurker attacks, all those little maggots also attack. So you have to try and do it fast then flash away.

I did it on an exporation mission at lvl 49. Other areas here look like a lot of fun in later levels!

Ok I just finished it. Level 50 Rogue This is what you do. Go into the instance

Go all the way to the bottom. There you will see a big pool of water in the centre. Jump into the pool but stay on the sides. You will see a set of stairs coming out of the water. At the top of the stairs is an Alter. What I did was waited till the monsters were the farthest away then I clicked the temple. I guest page comes up. Click like hell to complete it. They attacked me hard and fast but I clicked faster lol. Then died before I could hit vanish.

Clicking on the Altar, will show you the sequence of the statues to be touched to spawn the Guardian in the pool.

The altar is in the basement of the instanced part of the temple, and you have to get the Sunken Temple quest from the witchdoctor in Camp Mojache in Ferelas to get this quest from Rivetseeker.

At the top of the stairs near the water, there is a small altar that gives you the clues to completing it.&nbsp You have to activate the statues in a specific order, then a gaint shows up with the idol down in the water.&nbsp Once you kill the giant, then you click on the idol... COMPLETED.

You can get the quest from Mavron Rivetseeker, in Tanaris, and it is part of a chain, but its an easy one.&nbsp You get an errand quest to pick up the stone circle which is in a crate outsid his workshop in Ratchet.

for this quest you need to go to the downstairs and just "turn in" the quest to the altar itself. for the quest "secret of the circle" you need to actually do the entire event in that same room.

ROGUES: Here's better instructions on how to do it.

Stealth into the Temple, go to the instance. Take the passage on the right that goes down. Stealth on through the mobs and continue down to the pool. At the top of the stairs that go into the pool is the altar. come from the water side, Distract the mobs, activate the alter, then click everything to Complete the quest (3 clicks?) then vanish... or just die and rez at the SH.

rivetseeker gives two quests.

secret of the circle: this is the one where you have to do the lights and then click on the statue in the center. this gives you a box with three items in it.

into the depths: this is a separate quest. it isnt marked elite because it says its complete. it says complete because you are holding the circle that he gives you. this one you just have to click on the altar at the top of the steps to finish.

this quest series starts in feathermoon stronghold with a quest called the sunken temple, which sends you to find rivetseeker. rivetseeker then wants you to get the circle from ratchet. then he gives you these 2 quests.

You have to go to Camp Mojache in Feralas and get the quest from the witchdoctor to talk to Marvon Rivetseeker in Tanaris(not sure if you have to do any quests first to get to this quest, but I'm pretty sure you don't), Marvon is south of Gadget at the Broken Pillar(I think it's called) he will give you the Gahz'ridian(again, I think it's called) quest, which, from my understanding you must complete in order to get this quest. Yes, it's a chain quest, so I assume you can't skip any parts in the chain. And since I'm currently working on the Gahz'ridian quest, make sure that you have the supplied helmet on when you are running around looking for the Gahz'ridian things, they are just mounds of sand and will appear on your minimap at random when you are wearing the helmet thingy that Marvon will give you. Hope this helps some and if you are on the Twisting Nether server, you are more than welcome to message me (Bishah) with any questions, whether it pertains to this quest or not. Immediately to right on instance after you enter are circular stairs leading down... at the end of these is a short corridor followed by the circle room with the altar immediately infront of you.

Did it with 52 war, 53 hunter, 51 priest only.

Right-click and finish quest, then read about the serpent statues on balconies above you for next part (not a chain quest, but you have to learn about the statues for some reason)

After talking to Marvon Rivetseeker you will be given the quest "The Stone Circle".&nbsp You then will have to travel to Ratchet to find Marvon Rivetseeker's stone circle.&nbsp After arriving in Ratchet (as if you were coming off of the dock) go left towards Liv Rivetseeker hut.&nbsp Outside the hut is a Marvon's chest which contains Marvon's stone circle.&nbsp After picking up the circle return back to Tanaris to Marvon Rivetseeker.&nbsp Marvon will then give you the two quests for Sunken Temple: "Into the Depths" and "The Secrete of the Circle"

You do not turn this quest in.&nbsp It is done when you do it.&nbsp I know it always says complete once you get the token, but it isn't.&nbsp Go to temple, thru instance, kinda hard to find, but keep looking, then go down flight of stairs on left I think, and it's at the bottom.&nbsp Very easy, especially for rogues.&nbsp Stealth

as a 55 shaman i was able to solo this, took a couple of tries, im pretty sure any class can do it...follow directions given for rouges above. when u get to bottom of stairs (u might need to kill a mob on way down) jump onto the skirting and follow round, i used a tranquil air totem to get past snake, you might not need to. after past snake jump down kill oozling, then wait for snake pat, take it out then kill next mob. last mob youll have to get past coz with the maggots he'll take you out.
i used a stoneclaw totem to distract him momentarily while i ran past and completed quest. i died soon after :(

its suicide but its 4900XP suicide :D

Alliance quest starts in Feathermoon Stronghold with the NPC Angelas Moonbreeze.&nbsp She will give you two quests "The High Wilderness" and "The Sunken Temple".&nbsp After you accept the quest for "The Sunken Temple" you then need to fly to Tanaris to visit Marvon Rivetseeker.&nbsp Marvon the will give you the "Into the Depths" quest for Sunken Temple.

In order to get this quest from Marvon, you must talk to Angelas Moonbreeze in feathermoon. She sends you to Marvon, then he will give you the two quests. Heres the link to the quest.
