Return to Tymor

Return Tymor's Drawing Kit to him in Ironforge.
Drawing Kit
Provided Item:
Drawing Kit

Description

Tymor didn't give me anything to pay you with, so I suggest you take it up with him when you get back to Ironforge. I'm sure he'll still be in his place in the Mystic Ward. Just go knockin' and make sure he pays you good. This place ain't no picnic... that's for sure.

Thanks again for helping him out though, and good luck.

Oh, and I don't need the drawing kit. Why don't you just bring it back to Tymor when you go to see him?

If you for any reason you accidentally lose your Drawing Kit, or delete it - just abandon the quest, go back to Ironforge, get a new flare gun, head out to the helipad and summon Pilot Xiggs. He will give you the quest again, as well as give you a new Drawing Kit. I learned this the hard way.

This is Mike's son
Did this with my priest at 50, easy let me tell you. My girlfriend did it with her 51 rogue too and said it was easy. I like the orb at the end, but now too find a good dagger/mace to go with it...

You pick the quest up at 31,50 in IF (mage district) from Tymor if like me you abandoned it and wanted to come back to it.&nbsp He is inside the building.&nbsp

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp IMPORTANT:

YOU&nbsp MUST&nbsp &nbsp WAIT&nbsp &nbsp ONE&nbsp &nbsp MINUTE&nbsp AFTER PICKING UP THE QUEST "ARCANE RUNES".&nbsp YOU WILL THEN BE ABLE TO PICK UP THE QUEST, "AN EASY PICKUP" WHICH TELLS YOU TO GO TO THE PILOT, XIGGS FUSELIGHTER TO GET THE FLARE GUN YOU USE TO SIGNAL HIM&nbsp &nbsp B E F O R E&nbsp YOU LEAVE IF.&nbsp HE IS LOCATED IN THE MILITARY WARD MAIN BUILDING AT THE HANGER.

For some reason, the second quest takes a minute to show up to pick up.&nbsp If you read the seconed quest, it explains evreything.

First off I know this is the wrong quest part to post this too but the correct quest log is broken and you don't have permission.

Once you get the 4 runes head to the sout eastern tip of the zone to "The Ruined Reaches" to an island located @77/91.&nbsp There you will find a heliport on the island.&nbsp Make sure that before you start out you picked up the "Standard Issue Flare Gun".&nbsp Fire of the flare gun and a helicopter lands and pilot Xiggs Fusell will get out and accept the quest and offer you another to return the Tymor's Drawing KIt" to Ironforge

Tip: do NOT go over land to get there.&nbsp If the L50+ elite dragonkin don't scare you off, there's the L54-55 Elite Giants wandering around.&nbsp LOTS of them.&nbsp Add to the the scattered L54 mobs buzzing around.&nbsp

The piece de resistance to all this? A ghost boss blue dragon I ran into.&nbsp Very..&nbsp very..&nbsp BIG!&nbsp L70ish I'm sure (me L56).

Sad part of the quest..&nbsp couldn't actually FLY back to IF with the guy.&nbsp ((sigh))

It was fun getting killed by giants, but I completed this at lvl 46 and only got 2550 XP off the signal part.

The previous quest description gave me the impression that the pilot is going to give me a lift to IF. Turns out you have to go back yourself. Good thing i'm a mage. -)

I did this just after hitting level 50, my first time in Azshara. Very easy, I even hung around the ruins grinding because they were dropping easy money and clams with black pearls, got two off the first couple I did. Swam up the shoreline, did not run into any mobs, easily avoided. No problem.

Did this quest with my lvl 45 Hunter. Very easy. Died about 3 times but worth it. The only problem was that I didn't get flares. So I had to go back all the way to IF to get them again!

I just finished this quest as a 47 Rogue, and only had to fight 3 mobs. The first was a 52 Siren that I got too close to, and had to Vanish out of there. If you don't have Stealth, then I would wait until you can handle a couple 50ish mobs at once. If you do have Stealth, avoid the Sirens, as they will detect you if you get anywhere near them. They aren't close to the Runes so it is very doable. Coords were dead on. Great XP. The only thing I didn't like was the long swim to the platform.

This quest was not that hard. Even with the level 55's I was able to bypass them by not getting aggro. I was Level 53 when I did this. All you gotta do is run with your mount. The only part I did die on was when I decided to jump off a cliff. It looked like there was water there, but I died 2 feet from the water. lol... btw I got 7600 xp when I had to return to Tymor...

You can swim to the landing pad without touching the lvl 55 mobs if you know how to dodge them. Not that hard.

Its easy to do as druid. Stealth your way to the obelisks, and then swim to the helipad at the far south. Oddly enough the skull is most valuable

Solo with 47 Paly, got the first two rubbings okay, but was slow going with all the mobs. Hooked up with a 50 mage from my guild on a different quest in the same area. We finished both his and my quests in no time. And yeah, the biggest pain was the swim. Also took the time to check out the blue dragon. Hope I can find a few like minded individuals (like 40 of them - lol) cause I sure want to take that guy out. Relatively easy quest and good exp.
