Disharmony of Flame

Travel to the quarry in Blackrock Mountain and slay Overmaster Pyron. Return to Thunderheart when you have completed this assignment.

Description

The elders have felt a disturbance amongst the elements. The Dark Iron dwarves have summoned a foul spirit into our world that threatens to plague our lands with an eternal draught. This disharmony of flame must be investigated.

Travel to Blackrock Mountain, through the Chasm of Flame, into the quarry. It is there that you shall find this lord of fire: Overmaster Pyron.

End the disruption and return to me.

So yes, the turn in is located in Kargath.&nbsp However, you can only talk to him when he is standing near the Inn.&nbsp When he is out "exploring" with his pals, you have no option to talk to him.&nbsp Hence forth, I sit here twiddling my thumbs in Kargath waiting on the twit.

If you can't find the questgiver, just wait by the inn. He and the rest of the <Kargath Expeditionary Force> patrol around, but he'll be back.

Go into Blackrock Mountain and walk across a chain into the middle "island". Go all the way down through the tomb, you'll come out next to another chain bridge that leads you down. Turn right at the Blood Elf NPC and you'll enter an area with elite dwarves, 49-50. You don't have to clear them, just kill the ones that are in your way as you go towards the instance portal, which is north.

The elemental hits quite hard. As a hunter, I brought a pet with maxed out fire resistance, and was able to complete the quest with a druid helping me out. Good luck.

The mob in question is actually found outside of BRD, but is elite all the same.

This quest is obscenely hard to solo. I couldn't do it as a 56 demo lock. 9k health. immune to immolate and fear. Killed my felguard within 15 seconds and came after me. Not sure why this isn't labeled as a group quest. Also, for those of you who dont know how to get to this place go inside blackrock mountain and climb onto the chain and follow it down to the rock in the middle, and take tha path down lower. You will eventually get to the quarry. He's pretty easy to find inside. I will update if/when i finish the quest. Also, just to give you an idea of my build, i am 6/41/0 with 3k life, 5k mana, and +200 shadow damage. No chance.

He is in no way a normal lvl 51 elite, though. Way harder. As an spriest its senseless to attempt this alone, so make sure you get it and complete it on the way to a BRD run. He's immune to fear, has a high resist % on spells, does fire damage which is unmitigated by armor and has a way of making PW:S disappear instantly without hitting you (!?). He doesn't hit all that hard most of the time, though, so a melee class and a healer of much lower level (tried it at lvl 56 myself) would probably not have too much trouble with him.

When I killed him last night (with the help of my guildies) he was only a 52 elite, so I thought it should be a cakewalk.&nbsp At first it was just me (53 priest) and my friend (55 shaman).&nbsp Then we died three times... even without adds.&nbsp This guy hits extremely hard for a 52 elite.

Finally a level 60 guildie came in and helped us clear him no problem... but I was still stunned by how hard this guy hits.

That flamy dude is immune to fire, cold, stun, dizzy, etc. He hits like 500-600 per hit. Bring a friend or two.

i've been to thunderheart and he doesn't have any quests for me. i'm a 60 warrior. is there something i have to do to get him to give me the beginning quest for this series?

i am level 55 warlok and i cant kill him solo

he is 55 elite - imune to fire/fear and hits very hard&nbsp - much harder than normal 55 elite

dunno why the quest is green for me then...
