He's not in the first room on the right. Turn right at the first CORRIDOR on the right and go to the end. He's guarded by two 24+ Elites.

25+ mobs in Stockades.

I did this quest as a lvl 22 warrior, along with another lvl22 dwarf warrior/healer. We found him in the stockade, in the first room on the right. There are several other 24-26 elites wandering the hall and in the room with him that you need to take out first. We did have to dash back through the portal a couple times, but it can be done.

Think I got 2650xp for this at lvl 31.

To find Bazil Thredd, when you enter the instance, go straight to the dead end then turn right and just keep going straight (follow the main hall when it curves and when you get to a large circular room keep going straight).

I soloed this as a level 36 Hunter specced as Beast Master. I nearly died a couple of times, but, with a little help from using the Feign Death I pulled it off. It is CRUCIAL that you install an aggro-meter addon, in my humble opinion. With it (I used OMEN) I am able to control my rate of fire so as not to overtake my pet's aggro. After all, you want your pet to tank, right?

How many Quests are there for The Stockade in total?

As a lvl 40 Shaman, I want to ride a horse so I'm doing all the westfall and redridge quests I skipped as I leveled. Soloed this pretty easily. The bosses in Stockades never drop loot. How disappointing!

To the poster above: you are functioning at your level as you enter. The dungeons don't "remember" you. It's hard because these mobs are elites, which makes them function as though they are 5-10 levels above their posted level.

What are the names of all the Quest in the Stockade?

I have picked up the letter i have gone and spoken to alex barros but it wouldn't let me take the next part of the quest i dont think i was a high enough level at the time. However my letter has gone and it still says i need to deliver the letter to alex but it wont let me as i dont have the letter what do i do ? do i abondon the quest ? will VC drop another letter ?

I don't know,they both require the same level .

Almost frogot. What level is Bazil Thredd and is he an Elite or not?

i didnt get the unsent letter, can i still get this quest? If so how, i am going to have to kill van cleef again, or is there another way?

Stockades are great - i can solo them from lvl39 with my warrior. prefure this one to deadmines as drops are worth more even though they are less

any1 know coords?

As of 2.3 this quest gave me 3550 xp and 500 Stormwind rep.

A little piece of advise: if they are too much or too many, run to the exit!! Guards will help and the traps there will also do the job (check the picture of the impaled defias if you don't believe it!!!).

This quest rewards 250 Stormwind reputation as of patch 2.01

Nippur is incorrect about the gaurds helping you with the inmates. They do no such thing.

Once you enter the instance. You fight the inmates that are within the instance. The inmates inside are Elites.

The inmates that the guards outside of the instance fight (the ones that Nippur took a screen shot of) are not part of the instance. They are not Elite NPC's, and they don't even challenge you when they spawn. At least they have not challenged me.

I tried several times to see if Nippur is correct. But he is not. I even killed one that walked past the instance portal, that I could not loot due to distance. When I went outside, he was gone. When I went back inside, he was still on the steps to far for looting.

Just letting you know in case you have any ideas of doing this solo and thinking you can get help from outside the instance.

Although. Running out the exit and then going back inside, resets the inmates. So if you agro a lot of them and make it outside. You don't have to wait to go back in.
