Bring 15 Blood Amber to Arathandris Silversky in Felwood.

Description

Plants give life to Felwood, yet even they suffer the taint of corruption. I know ways to cleanse them, but I cannot give out such knowledge to those I don't know or trust. Prove to me that you will truly aid the cause of the Cenarion Circle!

To the north lie the Irontree Caverns. The Warpwood elementals present there are now beyond hope of cleansing. I ask you to bring me their sap - blood amber it is called - so I may study it in the hopes of saving other forms of life here.

Contrary to the stats, the Warpwood mobs drop one Blood Amber 100% of the time. I think the stats are wrong because it is accounting for people who do not have the quest, in which case this item would not drop for them. At level 52 I sliced through these like butter.

when you finished Quest- Cleansing Felwood,
she also gives two quest:

1.Quest- Salve Via Hunting:
Required item: [Corrupted Soul Shard] x6
i got them from Deadwood Shaman in Felpaw Village
xp: 4200
2.Quest- Salve Via Gathering:
Required item:[Fel Creep] x4
got from Herb skill.
xp: 4200

15 drops in 17 kills so it isn't 100% but still quick and easy as a Lv 49 Mage. Just stick to the Lv 52 & 53 mobs at coords 56,18 to start. (for those without coords it's at the mouth of the "Irontree Cavern")

When she gives you the next 2 quests, that are repeatable, one is based on your profession - Herbalists need Fen Creep, Skinners need Tainted Skin, Miners need Tainted Vitriol, etc. Guess it's an easy way to use the skills and resourses there...and since you are generally questing, the Shards fall off everything else and follow the looting rules for your group...

51 affliction lock. Had 0 problems with this quest. Took about 10 mins to grab all 15. 100% drop rate as said.

100% drop-rate =) easy Quest and easy experience.. Just that you have to go all the way up to the cave to do the Quest, then down to the Quest-giver in the bottom part of Felwood again.

Irontree cavern has a quicker than normal respawn time so if you plan on going deep into the cave better expect some respawns on the way back out

53 mage solo simple just had to find the cave dont have any mods so i had to look but I'll tell u were its at if u dont have coords....

&nbsp the cave is called "Irontree Cavern" Northwest of Talonbranch Glade (thats were u get your FP just in case u didnt know)

and if it doesnt give u the quest item every time just log off and log back on...blizz likes to complicate things...lol

Leave your raid group! i killed like 50'st when i was in a raid and i diddnt get a single blood amber. After leaving the raid, the blood dropped on every kill nearly!

its do able solo as a level 50 shadow priest ... but I would have been happier in a group with others to soak the damage :P

I didn't enter the cave... just pulled single guys mostly the 53s (preferably the 52s) and even some 54s&nbsp .. just clean the area of wolves and bears to reduce adds.

The drop rate of the amber is really good ( I got 15 out of 17 kills), so this isn't one that should drive you nuts on collection.

Both types of elementals in this area drop them.

for clarification, the warpwood elementals are swampwalker things that live in and around a cave at the north end of the woods. the cave is a good place to grind them away from prying eyes.

they are not the treant things (warpwood, who knew) to the south end of the woods, but those things drop some pretty nice stuff, so have fun grinding

I absolutely cannot find him. I looked everywhere at and near the Emerald Sanctuary (tha map shows him being a little south of the camp) but he cannot be found in the whole area (after literally two hours of searching). Is this a bug?
