Wild Hearts

Gather 6 discolored worg hearts and bring them to Apothecary Renferrel at the Sepulcher.

Description

My brother Quinn was badly hurt by the ghoul, Ivar the Foul, and I don't know if he will heal properly without magical aid. Although I am not an apothecary, I do know that our apothecaries can make healing potions from the discolored hearts of worgs.

Gather such hearts and take them to Apothecary Renferrel at the Sepulcher to the south. Then return here with the potion.

You can find plenty of worgs between here and Malden's Orchard to the east.

This is a ridiculous quest.&nbsp Found the drop rate on hearts to be a round 10% at best.&nbsp Plan on killing MANY wolves..

Maiden's Orchard as well as north of the orchard.&nbsp If you run out there go east across the road.&nbsp I found all hearts in 5 minutes.

I noticed that u dont need the quest to get the hearts. so u can kill worgs on ur way down to sep and collect hearts makin the quest that much easier

if u kill Worgs not Mottled Worgs, and before acquiring the quest, drop rate was approx 50 - 75% for me.

I do not believe "Lost Deathstalkers" is a prerequisite for this mission. I stumbled on Rane Yorick shortly after entering Silverpine. I was wandering aimlessly killing Worgs as they were easy kills for my level. Rane gave me this quest when I first found he / she / it.

Get this quest at 57,12 and then go to 56,13 to pick up "Escorting Erland". I got this quest done while escorting the guy.

are u trying to annoy ppl by makin them do annoying quests like these or something?

The droprate is HORRIBLE. Dont expect to "quickly" clear this quest because it takes hours and hours and hours....

Killed at least 20 Mottled Worgs and not a single drop

when u first get into silverpine forest keep walking, until the second right turn u will see a field which is (ivar's patch) when u r walking down the path there will be a house straight in front of u and he is directly outside the front of the house.

The quest says to look for discolored worgs but I got the hearts off of the mottled worgs just NE of the quest giver.

The hearts dropped at about a 40% rate.

before you kill the worgs though, go to the house at maidens(?) orchard (56,9) and get the Escorting Erland quest, since you will probably get most of the hearts you need by killing the worgs on the escort mission. The quests work really well togeather.
