You have found a sickly, corrupted version of what appears to be a windblossom plant. The berries that hang from the plant appear rotten and poisonous. It desperately needs some sort of attention if it is to be turned back to normal.

Uh, when I do it, I get berries that act as food and grant a stamina buff.

Ever since the patch adding BWL, this quest has been broken (sort of). Every time I click on the Cleansed Windblossom, I resist the buff. This occurs even when I don't have any buffs on (in case one was too powerful for it to override), as well as when I have all my resists at 0 (except shadow since i'm undead). I've stopped cleansing the flowers and just attempt to get the buff whenever I see one already cleansed.
