The coords are 65.25 in Fenris Isle Castle.

Stay to the middle of the castle, he spawns there (not in one of the four corner towers).

Beware, he has 2 guards that aggro with him, and 2 more guards on the edge of the big room.&nbsp Take out the latter 2 guards first.

I beat this pretty easy as a Solo Warlock (but I was also lvl 31...so....)

Good luck, have fun.

P.S. Stop posting crappy, useless stories without directions or coords.&nbsp No one cares about your adventures, they just want to know how and what the hell to do.

24 warlock, just soloed him. As a lock, be sure you have a SS on yourself, because if you're low level like me, chances are you might die on the first try (lol as I did)!

First, I killed all the guards in the room except the two right by Thule. Easy pulls, shouldn't get any excess aggro on these.

When Thule, his imp, and the other two guards are left, what I did was send voidwalker in and concentrate on the two guards. I died, but thankfully the two guards died in the fight. After I SS rezzed, I sent in void attack Thule. Got him down to low health while my void was going to die, so I had it sacrifice, so I was shielded for a bit and managed to kill him. Imp was left and I was about to die until I feared the imp a few times to buy time to bandage for a sec. I so thought I was going to die I thought I was going to get a heart attack. XD

I think I read in one of the comments that Thule can be feared... I didn't try because I knew I would just find out he was immune which would be a waste of time, but wow I'm glad I got this done by myself, thought I would have a hard time with an elite the same level as myself.

He's not just 24, he is elite level 24!

But the rewards are somewhat worth it.

Managed to solo as lvl 18 warlock. Here's what I dwowhead:1,id:

Cleared out the first floor of mobs, it's easy to send your Voidwalker to pull and deal with them using DoT, piece of cake. Clearing the area isn't mandatory in my case but I did it for exp and just in case. Monsters vary from lvl 18-19. From the first floor you take the stairs up at the opposite end of house, turn left, take the ramp on the right and you're at the boss room. It's Thule Ravenclaw, a lvl 20 mob with an imp and a single guard (regular lvl 19 rot hide). There's also a patrolling mob (also a rot hide) inside the room.

Pull the patrol outside the room with a spell and have your Void taunt him. He is easy to kill. Now, send your Void to attack the imp because it does a surprising amount of damage. While Void is their point of interest use Fear on Thule. Keep him Feared while casting DoT's on the Imp and next the guard, all the while having Thule running around corners.

My Void died in the middle of fight against the guard who had only 5-10 % hp at this point. He was easy to handle with but I had to take a health potion and thus couldn't remedy the Hex of Ravenclaw curse. I managed to kill the rot hide while keeping Thule Feared but I died. Luckily, I had my soulstone ready so I could summon myself back using that. Now with both me and Thule 100 % condition it's the final, epic battle.

I keep him Feared while casting DoTs and curse myself for not sacrifcing my Void for a shield earlier, also for drinking that health potion. By luck I manage to wound him enough (under 10%) that the DoTs kill him at the same time I died (for real this time). With the room clear and Thule dead, I hurried from Sepulcher's graveyard to claim my prize: a bloody, decapitated head of my current archnemesis. Having no soul shards at hand and not being in the mood to fight myself out I got myself killed and resurrected at Sepulcher.

Of course the above applies ONLY TO WARLOCKS. Having not much experience from WoW I can't imagine any tactics for other classes, but hopefully my example shows that it's doable with a (group of) relatively low level characters. But if you want to feel the rush of adrenaline, do it solo as a warlock. I had a great time, myself.

I was able to do this solo as a 23 priest, just barely.

He's located on the second floor of the main keep-like building on Fenris Isle. There are a quite a few 18 and 19 mobs in and around the keep, sometimes 2 at a time.

He's a level 24 elite, with a 24 imp (not a lot of HP at all, go for him first). There are also 2 of the regular 18 or 19 guys right by him. First, I cleared the whole top floor. Then I killed one of the normal guys by him, and ran around the top floor until I dropped agro. Then I did the same thing for the second normal guy. After that I killed the elite. I used everything I had against him, including a pot, and just barely made it.

All in all, its probablly better to do this one in a small group, or at a somewhat higher level.

As of 2.3, this is no longer a group quest. It also appears to be slightly lower level.

Well this guy above is better than me, I wouldn't recommend trying to solo him at 23, I was also a 23 priest I tried to solo him and whiped. Probally because I used bad strategy. As angelFlonne suggested take the IMP out first, I partied with one of my guildies which was a mage lvl 21, he sheeped Thule and we killed the imp quickly then finished his other 2 adds. Since i'm a priest I just bubbled my mage and kept healing him throwing dots etc on Thule it was actually quite easy 2 manning.

I tried to solo it lvl24 Elf/Warlock and came close twice but just not enough power. Theres 6 guys in the room, 2 you can pull out, the other 4 stay together, 2 19's, Thule, and his imp. I can get the 2 19's down, and about 50-60% of thule. I think the imp died somewhere in the firestorms but I couldnt tell. One more guy would have made this a piece of cake though.

I attempted this as a 26 Priest and failed.

It's easy to pull the first three mobs, but then you are stuck with another two Rothides plus Thule himself and his Imp. These guys strike fast and enrage themselves doing more damage.

Since you get no xp. for the mobs anyways, I would suggest waiting until 29/30 to complete this quest...

If you completed all of the earlier threads to get to this quest, you should have received some of "Bethor's Potion" along the way. It supposedly removes the "hex of the Ravenclaw". Does anyone know if you are supposed to use that potion when you fight Thule? I haven't seen any reference to it in the thread comments here....

This quest is quite hard, esp when you get it at level 16 like i did. He's at the top of the castle in Fenris keep. You'll run across multipal areas where you have to deal with 3+ mobs at once, and his room he's surrounded by about 5 mobs, all level 17-18 and he's level 24. So unless you got a really awsome group this quest is gonna have to wait.

Before the fight make sure you have a soulstone ready. What i did first was clear the surrounding mobs leaving Thule, the 2 other mobs and his pet. next i set my void to tank while i worked on killing the rothides. Now after i killed the rothides my void was about to die and so was i so i ran to the back of the room and let him kill me. (Make sure your far enough away from his starting point so you can rez without pulling him). Soulstone, resummmon void and now im looking at just killing him and his pet which is a much easier fight. You have to work fast to avoid respawns though.

I just helped some others complete this quest, we only had a 23 mage, a 19 rogue, and 16 warrior and priest. After a couple false starts, we cleared the area and took him down. Don't get me wrong, it is a pain, but not impossible.

I soloed him on my lvl 24 blood elf hunter. He was quite hard though and died 4 times trying before I got him lol

It wouldn't have been so bad but the GY was a bit away and the respawn was insane :( I was hoping to be able to kill a few and make it back quick enough to just kill the boss or one other guy but I had no such luck. I couldn't make it back quick enough without having respawns already there or spawning at the beginning of the fight.

Finally I came to life rezzed my kitty and healed up and they had fully respawned. I killed the 2 guys which spawn on the sides. You can pull the left one by himself. The one on the right pulls the guy behind him but they were only lvl 19 and easy to kill.

That left me with the boss, his minion, and 2 more guys. I sent my pet on Thule while I quickly killed his minion. Then I put down a frost trap and pulled one guy & froze him. Pulled the other guy and killed them both fairly easily with melee which I had very crappy melee weapons with beastslaying on them lol. My poor kitty had just a smidge of life left and I was just about dead myself lol. But I managed to kill the boss and had 126 health left lol. And my kitty didn't die! Just as I killed him 2 guys respawned lol.

It was a crazy fight.

I did it with myself and one other mage, I was 24, she was 21. Mowed our way up there, then it took three tries to get him, we got spawned on the first time, the second time was just a mess, but the third time we did it. The two on the right side of the room pull together, as do the two on the left side, then when you go for Thule, there will usually be another rot gut in front of him. Don't forget about his imp either, annoying little hugger.

Hex of the Ravenclaw is a hefty DoT dealt by Thule. That potion would be very handy to have the Hex is something like 50ish fire damage every 3 sec for 15 sec (don't quote me on that, I'm just estimating from memory) and it makes this very hard to solo. Not only that, but he casts it on multiple people and their pets as well. So yes, you use the potion when you fight Thule.

I was able to accomplish this quest as a solo lvl 23 Rogue. I swam out to Fenris Isle and stealthed all the way into the building. It is the only building on the island is it is covered with many lvl 17-19 rothides. It's a great way to earn some xp points if you want to kill them all. I opted to just knock out the quest.

Thule is located on the second floor in a large room. He has a lvl 20 demon with him and one lvl 19 rothide. I sapped Thule, killed the demon, and then killed the rothide. The demon is very weak but he does deal out some hit points on you so I suggest you get ride of him first to make the whole operation go smooth. Thule is easy. Once I killed him and left with his head and stayed stealth on my exfill.
