Bring a Gorishi Scent Gland and 5 Un'Goro Soil samples to Alchemist Pestlezugg in Gadgetzan.

Description

My research revealed to me that the silithid are like bees; destroy the queen of the hive, and the rest of should be thrown into disarray. I'll brew a lure that we'll use to bring out the queen; once summoned, you'll take her down.

First though, we need some reagents; we don't want you bungling into the jungle unprepared. Go west to find the silithid hive in Un'Goro Crater and obtain a scent gland from one of the bugs. I'll also need some samples of the native Un'Goro soil.

Un'Goro soil can be found on various mobs in Un'Goro. They can also found within Un'Goro dirt piles. The dirt piles generally yeild multiple samples of soil.

Killed about 35-45 various different bug types to finally get my Gorishi Scent Gland.

I got mine from a Worker. Don't know if the others drop or not. But if its not dropping, keep killing. Might take a while.

You can get the Un'Goro soil from all of the mobs in Un'Goro Crater. You can get the Scent Gland from the Gorishi Hive,southern of Un'Goro (Around 50.80 )

I also got the gland on my first kill from a level 51 Gorishi Wasp.&nbsp For those without coordinates, if you go in the crater from Tanaris and go left at the bottom of the path, then skirt the wall, you will run right into them after some raptors.

55.76 is the real deal i have party notes so i just went to 55.76 loc on my map put a party note on it and killed a Gorishi Wasp. I got the gland. So if you guys are having trouble go to 55.76

Did this quest as a 51 rogue, the Gland dropped of a worker, seems like they have the highes drop rate.

The Slithering Scar (Where the Gorishi bugs are) is located in the southern part of Un'Goro.

Got mine off a Goroshi Reaver just inside the hive at 49, 82

If you aren't getting the drop try mobs in a different area. The drop isn't that rare it just only drops in certain areas.

I killed workers for over an hour.&nbsp I read the post near the top of the thread and went over to the area around 55, 77.&nbsp I killed the wasp at 53, 76 and the gland dropped.

As soon as you enter the Un'Goro crater, you will probably see really big Dinosaurs....they drop the Un'Goro soil or alternatively, you can find dirt patches to uncover on the ground to aquire them also. Bloodpetal Flayers (neutral monsters) will also drop the soil.

For the Gorishi Scent Gland, you'll need to go around roughly 50,80 to find the Slithering Scar area for the Gorishi creatures... they pack a nice whollop...so be careful :p

The quest actually starts in Darnassus which is why some may not be able to get. You get the quest in Temple of the Moon then you must go to Gadgetzan to get next part!
