The Kobolds in these parts sometimes carry Gold Dust on them. I could really use the stuff - bring me a load of it and I'll give you the best price in town...best price in town!

This one is very easy - cords are at 39.82.
Be sure you also have the following:
LVL 7 The Fargodeep Mine
LVL 7 Kobold Candles

If you do not have the downloads, use your mouse to find the location or just south (south east) of Goldshire.&nbsp Heavy action in getting your share - lots of new Alliance come to get these three knocked out.

If you head into the fargodeep mine which is south of Goldshire but not too far down, you will find lots of "kobolds". These guys are small and have candles on their heads. They drop gold dust every so often and that is what you need to collect. Fairly easy but for safety I recommend you take one person with you to help you clear the Fargodeep Mine.

do this along with Kobold Candles, The Fargodeep Mine and Lost Necklace, which is also in Fargodeep Mine where you need to do some chain quests then kill Goldtooth. Lost Necklace starts at "Auntie" Bernice Stonefield whom is at 34,83 or Stonefield Farm for those of you who doesn't have a coordinate addon

The drop rate on Gold Dust is so-so. It's what makes me dislike the quest, but I still do it for experience.

As long as you know where the Fargodeep mine is (straight south of Goldshire), you'll do fine. I had to kill at least 5 Kobalds to get 1 pile of dust, but don't get discouraged. Just keep killing them (you may have to actually go into the mine) until you have all 10, then return. It's just as easy as reading the quest log in the first place.

The quest is billed as level 7, but I would probably leave it until level 8 unless you are very patient around the mines. You do not need to go inside, but instead, kill the Kobolds outside and some drop the required gold. In my experience, drops have been few and far between so you have to kill lots of Kobolds, which is good for exp. However, especially at the Jasperlode mine, you
will find Kobold Geomancers who stand off and pelt you with fireballs which eat into your health. I did this quest as a lvl 8 Warrior with good armor(twinked! Yay!). Because I was not as careful as I might have been I pulled several kobolds at once and this hurts. The most common problem is pulling a miner (ok) but then his Geomancer friend gets interested. It got hot!
