Fall of Dun Modr

Search for Longbraid near the town of Dun Modr.

Description

Dun Modr has fallen to the Dark Iron Dwarves!

My wounds are grave, <class>. Most of the regiment was killed! The Dark Iron thugs attacked us before we could regroup from the Thandol Span ambush.

Our leader, Longbraid, sounded the retreat horn. As we left the town I was hit by a stray axe in the back. All went black.

I awoke here in Menethil but I fear for my fellow soldiers. Hope still burns within me. Perhaps Longbraid is still alive! See if you can find him near Dun Modr, <race>!

The road that heads north across the wetlands will lead you to this location. When you start to enter the hills towards Arathi it will be on your left before the bridge. It is most north center part of Wetlands.

Its right next to Dun Modr, once you complete that quest for 1000 xp, there are 3 more quests that you can do! Go at it! Also, the quests are Elites, so be carefull now.

Head north along the road to Dun Modr. You will see the question mark on the left side of the road.

for those less observant locs are given within the game use M key to open map and u can see the loc at the bottom on the map ,simply head in that direction.
for those who move to objects without locs its just like walking with your eyes closed

there is a side road on the map right before the greens. you take that all the way up and Longraid is on the left hand side of the road behind a few crates and a wheel barrow.

Follow the road that leads north in wetlands...finally you get to Dun Modr. There you find 5 dwarfs shooting at the enemy. Longbraid is one of them.

28 dwarf rogue owned his ass =) i took whole 2 hits with my technique which is simple. Instand poison on both weapons, destroy his little minion before and then just stealth up > cheap shot > wait til that ends then gouge (with improved this works best) and wait out the duration of the gouge > then sinsiter spam and eviscerate his ass. so easy =)

ofc i am combat spec so i have improved gouge and other dandy stuff including +40% offhand damage but even so it should be easy. you could probably cheap shot, vanish, ambush him but im not sure if that works cause i havnt tried it myself

Not every one has or uses those map-coord.

Can you give details where Longraid is located. A snap shot would be great.
