If you're doing this quest with another in your group, make sure everyone places their gambits.&nbsp

It's a quest requirement.&nbsp I let a groupmate use his and didn't use mine and now I have to go back... again.

Possibly the best staff for spirit freaks. Pretty cool for mana regeneration when in healing rotations.

its a long quest chain, im looked for it for long time, checked thott and allakhazam as well as other wow sites. and finnaly i found (at least i hope) whole chain so i can find where im in it (cause i did some of the quests)

Does anybody know if this quest is repeatable? I'd like to farm Vectus for this FR pants.

i want to farm vectus for the dark advisors pendant... can i abandon this quest after killing him and get a new questitem for him at questgiver?

is this quest doable in a raid?

I talk to a lot of people who say that it's impossible to do this quest with a 5-man I'll offer you a strategy:

Easiest way to complete the quest is to get the Viewing Room Key from the boss after the dragon room (sorry, I don't remember his name- Rattlegore or something?) in a Raid, then exit Scholomance. Completely disband the Raid (reset the instance) and take a strong 5-man group with you (you cannot Raid the quest Dawn's Gambit). When you enter, the bridge you are standing on right after the entrance is right above the room that leads to the Viewing Room. Send a Paladin down and have them aggro the room away from the locked door, allowing the key bearer (hopefully a Druid, Priest, Pally, Shaman or someone with jumper cables) to jump down, open the door, and run inside without gaining any aggro. After the Pally dies, have the key bearer rez him. Then do the same with a Warlock: have the Warlock jump down from the bridge, die near the door, and have the Pally rez him when he's dead and the aggro is gone. Now you can summon the other 2 party members (with the Warlock). Rest up, buff up, then place Dawn's Gambit in the Viewing Room and get ready for some aoe action as the whole room of npcs turn into skelletons and attack you wave after wave. After all that, you kill Vectus and his minion (pull the minion first- makes Vec much easier). Sounds longwinded, but only took me about an hour (including the run to get the key).

Did this 5-man tonight. Set the box in the middle of the room, all the scholars aggroed and our mage kited them all in circles with AOE. They were dead in a few seconds.

This quest starts the chain to get this quest, none of the steps are very hard and can be done in pickup groups or solo.

Does anyone know of a way to continuesly pick up more Dawn's Gambits. The reason I ask is because im interested in farming Vectus until he drops Skullsmoke Leggings. I have one but I am hestitant to use it especially in a pick up raid to scholo.
