Andorhal Watch (5)

Description

If you are willing to help once more, I can certainly use your assistance. I'll gladly take more watches you might uncover from the ruins of Andorhal. They certainly help me in maintaining a balance against whatever malign force is meddling with the timeline here.

In exchange for those watches, I'll give you another item that, in the future, I suspect you'll find quite the use for.

Okay for you people that keep saying they arn't in each burned down house l have a few ideas to why you can't find them.

1.) Your bloody blind!
2.) Not looking hard enough (probably, but goes with the #1 reason.)
3.) LOOK IN CORNERS!
4.) Someone has gotten to it 1st - move on!
5.) Color blind - these lockboxes are brownish.

LOOK BLOODY HARDER! These stoopid lockboxes arn't hard to notice they're in the inside corner of each burned down house. If you haven't found one in each then that mean there are others that are doing it and got there 1st - so move on. Plus don't think its that long of a respawn for these lockboxes. Simple and plain words - LOOK BY THE CORNERS!

Good luck ^^

They are found in small gray lockboxes. Mostly found in open destroyed houses. Seems to be very few around though, so very hard to find.

Check out the houses that have been burned down, they seem to be around 2 per building that has been razed to the ground.

This quest is easy. i soloed it in like 3-5 min.
You dont need to go inside the houses, you can easily open the box from outside. Thrugh the wall.
But i cant figure out if the quest is bugged or if its ment to be done 3 times or more..

Well good luck..

I took these while standing on the steel boxes.
For those who dont have Cosmo...just look in the corners of the ruined houses by Chromie (one who gave u the quest)
Each ruin has one in the corner might need to kill 1 creature per box sometimes none. There are many more boxes with the watch but I figured why travel all around when u can stay by quest giver side. Did the quest 3 times in a row.

if you plan on doing araj the summoner, anytime soon.... then do this quest over and over again .... well at least if you are low on rep at AD ...

1. Obtain the quest from cromie
2. go to the burned down houses scatered around Andorhal (lazy way : when you exit the in, there are 2 houses on the right and 3 on the left, all with boxes inside, Kill the mobs, loot chests - took 6 min's 56 hunter... Beauty part : when you deliver the quest to cromie you should take the quest again (I did) went out, thourgh that I would use another 6 min's, but hey took me les than 2 min's the 2nd time, because chests spawn faster than mobs... and hey 3rd time again .... but the the 4th time I had to kill again... so I wanted to get a patern for the respawns .... did the quest 20 times, killed mobs 6 times ... whee xp.... now lvl 57 :P .... now I only need to see if the dampener stacks on the summoner .... well the damage is instant, I know that, but what about the 25% less dam.... and if it does stack how .... -25, -25 , -25 , -25 / (-25)(-25)(-25)(-25) ....
work work work..

Has anyone seen Chromie?

The best way to do it is to go to the houses all around where you get the quest from and then hand it in, by the time you go to the first house for the second time, the box will have respawned but the mobs won't have =O

So technically you kill 1 wave of mobs for 2 rounds

The quest name may refer to a Genesis song from The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

The subject matter of the quest doesn't really have any relation to the quest, though. (The song is about a guy who is reading a sexual manual and trying to figure out which buttons to press.)

I was doing this quest and my sister IM'd me with this Jamie Kenedy video (Circle Circle Dot Dot) I put my Druid into stealth and stayed by where I had gotten the latest lock box. (40,68) I hoped I wouldn't be hurt while away. Well in the time it took to listen to the song, I came back and the box had respawned and the MOB had not. Got another watch. Listened to the song again while stealthed, came back, fought one guy, got another watch...
Rinse, repeat.

the dampener is not resuable and only works against araj. not sure if they stack. you don't really need them to take him down any way.
