Locked Away

An extremely sturdy cabinet stands before you, securely fastened shut by a built-in lock. The front of the cabinet is deeply scratched and marked. This could be surmised as being from numerous and violent failed attempts to reveal whatever secrets the cabinet currently obfuscates from view.

If you are going to open this cabinet, you will need to find the key.

Logically, the cabinet is in their house, i.e. the building next to the barn. Per the previous trick, walk straight toward the house from the outhouse, and open the cabinet after clearing the outside mobs.

It's repeatable, in that you can keep getting the key and opening the outhouse door to summon the farmer, not that you can score 5000 shotguns and wedding rings.

The fun part is you don´t have to enter the house to open the cabinet, just stand very close to the wall at the most North-east spot, then hold your cursor at 2th flour hight until you find it.

Actually, at 60 (I dinged in the doorway to go up and open the cabinet!) I got 6 gold 50 silver, not 2 gold 50. Also, the gun sells for 2 gold and change, the ring for about 67 silver. So, all in all it's a nice bit of coin for a little work. :)

A cool "Easter Egg"!

By the way, with the 3 scarlet crusade folks outside the barn, wait until they engage an undead mob, then sneak inside. The diary is on the floor. Also, 2 mobs inside.
