all of you stating that these legs are terrible, better can be acquired from running MC etc... you really didnt think about it at all. cenarion AND stormrage legs are +healing only and these being +spell dmg would be wonderful for a balance druid who finds it hard to obatin balance gear due to there not being much. why would a balance druid want T1 and T2.... ITS NOT SPELL DMG. before you comment plz read the stats for the item and think just for a second that it may be useful to certain specs......

These are decent enough to strive for. Especially if you're not doing 40man raids yet.

However if you're guild is in MC then don't bother. These pants are way too expensive when you have a good shot at Salamander Scale Pants of Cenarion Leggings.

Are you mad? Should we also pay 50 gold for having this crafted?

Just farming the items is hard enough...

Maybe I will just go for Cenarion - or Stormrage if I really push my luck :D

And you'd get your stormrage quicker too.&nbsp This thing requires 5 scholo runs IN A 5 MAN.&nbsp Despite the fact that they nerfed the hell out of Scholo still.

Well I could be wrong.&nbsp Can you loot the embalming fluid in a raid?&nbsp I'm not really sure to be honest.

Stitchings are easy.&nbsp Arcanite bars just money.&nbsp But the Hide omg.&nbsp Shoot me now.

Well, they are not exactly great. But still it is an epic item you can obtain without going to MC.

I am pretty sure that in 1.6 only the Cenarion pants drop in MC (from Magmadar).

I can't see anyone doing this quest, except for Druids amd maybe Shaman. The loot is useless for all the other classes. Someone had me grab the Frostwhisper's Embalming Fluid. Wanted to see what it was used for. If this is it, I'll vendor it.

I just don't get why Blizzard makes so hard quests (These quests that require Hide of The Beast and Chromatic Carapace), and leaving rewards that's not better.

I got 1 fluid today. Not even having the quest though. With 10 man raid. Actually 8 man, lol.

But in the raid chances are, better items drops too, so, is it really worth it? Perhaps somebody knows wether this unlocks other quests?

My head spun when I saw these. Its like an apirl fools joke that never went away I agree. Leggings of arcana eh. You would think there is some kind of bonuse for Arcane. They are druid pants and they are sad. Im going to get the mats for them all but the hide and just pray that they will change them soon.

I'm just curious, as a Druid epic quest, what would you suggest replacing them with? The only epic item that is better for the legs with respect to Int/Spi is a set of legs that according to this site drop less than 16% of the time from Ragnaros. These things are awesome! Any druid that says anything different needs to give a link to the item they think is better. These aren't feral equipment, so don't go there. This is for caster form.

Makes me honestley sad when i see people calling these bad there the best resto/balance druid gear in the game... why you ask

1:spi is a druids main stat in both those specs. for every 5 spi you have you get 1 mana every tick (tick=2secs) i just hit 500 spi raid buffed with these legs and i have to say when i can do a HT rank 11 and regen the mana cost 30% while casting (SR set bonus and talent) and the other amount for the cast in 4 secs im pretty happy and never run out of mana ever..... a mage gave me water once lol

2: no wait 1 sums it up

sudgestion libram of vorocity and 8 more spi like i did

Am I the only person who is impressed by them? Sure, it may not be worth it at about 200g and about 20 instance runs, but I personally find them to be better than I've seen yet.

There's just one little problem.......they're leather! :(
I have plenty of gold and time to sacrafice for them, the only problem is they're exactly what I need and am incapable of using them... :[

These are almost as good as the Cenarion Leggings, but you have to spend:
220g on the hide+ 130g on Arcanite bars+ 50g, and also about 8 instance runs, which makes 400g and 16hours (or only 8hours if youre helped just for this quest)

But for the Cenarion's you have to spend around 20-25hours just to get enough dkp to get them (it varies), and you can only do it on certain periods, raids schedules, while for the Arcane legs you can do it at any time and be done with it in only a couple of days.

Am I the only one that notices the +18 spell power on these? Yeah, the epic druid sets and salamander scale legs are nice, but they just have +healing on them. Wait, you mean I have spells OTHER then heals? And being a druid, I can chose to NUKE as my playstyle?

Stop trying to pigeon hole druids into one way of playing. These legs are great for a druid that wants to nuke. I'd get these and drop +FR on them in a second.

Sure theyre nice, but for the hassle its not worth it. u have to spend so much gold on mats, and so much time farming other mats, that its like buying these for 1000g and thats just ridiculous. I'd rather just get like Tanglemoss or even WH and get into a good guild and get cenarion/stormrage. No way im wasting my time.
