The Demon Forge

Travel to Blackrock Spire and find Goraluk Anvilcrack. Slay him and then use the Blood Stained Pike upon his corpse. After his soul has been siphoned, the pike will be Soul Stained.

You must also find the Unforged Rune Covered Breastplate.

Return both the Soul Stained Pike and the Unforged Rune Covered Breastplate to Lorax in Winterspring.

Description

Lorax makes deals, he does not accept them from insignificant mortals.

A deal I shall make with you, however... take this pike, it is imbued with powerful Fel energies. When you find Goraluk Anvilcrack, slay him and drive this pike through his dying heart. His soul he bartered, his soul I shall have. Return the pike and return the breastplate that the thief stole and I shall teach you what it is that he was to learn.

I was the same thing as you 300bs, lvl60, all that and it worked fine for me.&nbsp I can confirm that Lorax in Winterspring starts and ends the quest, he is in the Frost Gorge, standing in a little temple.&nbsp So if that is the guy you were at, I am at a loss.&nbsp But just be advised, he was one of those guys that you had to jump through the hoops for the quest, you know, read his story and talk to him again, all that.

Other than that, if you have the quest.&nbsp Anvilcrack is in UBRS, in the first room after the Father Flame mess.

Keep your eyes open, some raids skip him.&nbsp He is minor, and simple, just ask, most cool raids will help you out. You can kill him, and bloody the spear in a Raid, and right behind him, on a coat hanger, is the armor you need.

Be advised, when you loot it, it shows up as a "blue", some people will wonder where it came from, just tell them it's an Armor Master only quest.

There is more than one reward for the quest, so other people may want to do it for the additional rewards. such as the elixer or bag.

Realy want this BP for my alt, I went to visit the guy with my 354 Armoursmith, along with a friend who was a 300+ Swordsmith, and neither of us could get the quest (he wouldn't tell us his tale).

Opened a GM ticket but they said they werent aware of any problems.

Anyone else been able to get it with +300 smithing?

Ok I am 300 armorsmith, lvl 60 and even have the breastplate but he won't talk to me, anyone know? Is there some pre-req? I have done the fiery plate gauntlet quest also.

Can get quest as armorsmith, but isn't the plan "Requires Armorsmith"?&nbsp If that is true then any hammersmith can do the quest, but not learn how to make the armor.

You probably have to be an armorsmith with a certain level to talk to him.&nbsp I was able to at 300 skill, but I would guess whats required is probably at or a little below 285, the skill level of the plans.

The hardest part of doing this Quest in a PUG is making sure no one loots the Unforged Breastplate before you do, cuz even if they just "open" it to look the item disappears afterwards meaning you have to do another UBRS run to get it. But all in all this is a very simple Quest.
