Garments of the Light

Find Guard Roberts and heal his wounds using Lesser Heal (Rank 2). Afterwards, grant him Power Word: Fortitude and then return to Priestess Josetta in Goldshire.

Description

Normally I put forth a small challenge to followers of the Light to test their skill. I want to see if they are worthy of wearing their first robes--a sign that the church outwardly approves of the <priest/priestess> and supports <him/her>.

But this situation is a bit different. One of Goldshire's citizens saw an injured guard near the lake to the east of here. His name is Roberts. Find him, heal him, fortify his body and return here. If you can do that for me, then I will consider your test complete.

Human Priest: Guard Roberts is east-bound from the Inn. co-ordinates 48,68. Do not take the road because the mini-map radar will miss him. Instead Travel alongside the lake and you will find him easy enough

Since everyone is arguing back and forth about coordinates... why not just use a little common sense.&nbsp

Since there are 3 races that can be priests for ally (NE, Dwarf and Human) it would stand to reason that the coords are different depending which part of the map you're on.

I, a Dwarf priest, found him at 45,54... kneeling on a ridge looking out over the valley.&nbsp As I looked at my map and there is no way possible to get to 48,68 in Dun Morogh.

Please when posting be a little more discriptive and when reading be a little more understanding.

look it is really easy to get this information. There are different quests this one is for humans in Elwyn forest so if your are a dwarf or a night elf THIS IS NOT YOUR QUEST!
This is the quest in elwyn forest so if you got it somewhere else this will not help you.

he is right near goldshire just to the east near the lake coords for titan panel are 48,68 the others must be in cosmos or sumptin, you can still see the goldshire buildings where he is so not far at all.

I went through with a Human Priest and it worked fine. I made a Night Elf Priest and started in the Human area. I never got the quest from the first Priest trainer. I thought I did everything the same. Anyone care to help me out?

Did you use Rank 2 of the Lesser Heal spell? You can buy it from the priest trainer when you reach the appropriate level (4).

I found him @ 48,68 - I cast Lesser Heal (Rank 2) and then cast Power Word: Fortitude on him. Nothing happened the the quest didn't complete. What's wrong.

If you are using the Cosmos UI, turn off the Cast Options when you try to do this quest.&nbsp I couldn't get the quest to work, continuously healing and Fortifying Dolf with no effect.&nbsp Then I turned off Cast Options and tried again, and it worked.

Thanks for nothing, guys! The cords are right for Elwynn forest, but what the heck are the other ones doing?

A very much simpler way to get there is to follow the path that leads east a little ways (always make sure you are looking towards the lake). You will spot him after ten seconds or less of running. Voila! I figured it out on my very own, and you can too.

OK, i'll settle this. Gaurd Roberts IS AT 46,68 in goldshire right off the road next to crystal lake.

48,68 is the correct coords.

please stop giving incorrect info.

I found him just east of the inn leaning on a tree. He is just to the right of the last E in Goldshire

I can't imagine why this is listed as level 4 - when I did it I just survived at level 8. When you go to him there are 2 or 3 Mangey Wolves (I think level 7) that will attack as soon as you get close.

Be sure to read the quest :) I went cast heal on him but forgot to do the Power Word: Fortitude and had to go back and do it again.

ya all u have to do is walk east from the inn if u hit water stop and look kinda to the right and forword look for a dude by sum trees but once u see him be cautios fore their are like 3 wolves more to the right so wade into the water and cast from the oposide side of him as the wolves and they will pay no mind to you -Happy Gaming-

i-m starting to get annoyd ... i healed him woth lvl 2 heal .. but i cant give him the other buff ...... i just cant ...... i select him and press the buff button bot nothing happens ..... woth me it works .. bit with him no ....... WTF ? ....... is it bugged ? .... daaamn

The level ist four it is 6 thats the earliest the trainer gave me the quest
there was a wolf there but a guard was killing him so for the wolves around him, i think that is just bad timing

Guard Roberts "for me" was located at exactly 48.2 , 68.0
I left Goldshire heading East and searched the south shore of Crystal Lake. He was on one knee next to a tree where the south shore of Crystal Lake and the road are close together.
  • ( Whenever passing this location I have checked to see if he was there and he has been each time. If your coord addon say's 48,68 is an unreachable point in the mountains! then your going to have trouble using wowhead and the coords given. I suggest you delete your addon and get Titan Pannel or Cartographer addons.)
