hulking mountain loins can be found on Corrahn's Dagger.&nbsp Head north up the road past Tarren Mills into Alterac Mountains and its the little plateau on the left.

FYI: you can find the mobs for the syndicate assassins quest, so grab that too before heading out

They appear to be on a rotating spawn. If you don't see any of the lions you need, kill the other type and wait for the respawns.

you have to go to the northern area to do this, not here in south shore
first, go north towards Tarren Mill (60,25)
you can get here by following the road north, then turn right @ the intersection then turn north again (still following the road)

now, go north PAST the Mill, and you will get to Alterac Mountains.

once there, go to (61,56) beware of the elites here.
continue north towards a small path along the hills and there you will find the Hulks and ofcourse the lesser lions

Mountain Lions are above Hillsbrad in Alterac Mountains&nbsp 34:84 coordinates

Well, it's good xp.

Grab [31] Soothing Turtle Bisque, and then walk upriver and kill some Snapjaws, as u walk further up the river u get to Hillsbrad Foothills, and then u will finde the Hulking and the ordinary mountain lions.

I'm having trouble finding the ordinary Mountain Lions though, they are hard to come by.

Ok the perfect loc for this quest is Corrahn's Dagger around 50,13.&nbsp Plenty of Hulkinf lions and regular ones too.&nbsp the best part is that i also had the syndacate quests and those mobs were all there as well.&nbsp I'm a lvl 32 druid and it was a piece of cake! Killed two birds with one stone...awsome!

Loc&nbsp 45, 78

If you walk straight up the road from Southshore and keep walking into the mountains sightly to the left you will pass the Yeti's and go straight up to Corrahn's Dagger. The Syndicate are to the right and the mountain and hulking mountain lions are to the left, all up on the mesa's.

It would be a good idea to clear up both quests at the same time. The respawn rate is really good on both so you should be able to finish both of them off in about 10 to 15 minutes round trip.

Found a bunch just West of Lordamere lake.

Makes me wonder why the Mountain Lions would hunt all the way south in Southshore. When moving up to this area, it's actually changed zones to the Alterac Mountains, well north of Southshore. Galvan's Naze is where I found the regular lions.

I found more Hulking lions slightly to the east, on another outcropping, though the Hulking lions are less common than the regular ones.

While you're up there in Corrahn's Dagger, /loc 48.83, make sure you picked up Sydicate Assasins as they are in the same area as the Lions.&nbsp This location is due west of Tauren Mill.&nbsp Good luck.

Mountain lions 32,84 and around, Hulking at 38, 86

This is to all who dont have cosmos just go to The AV place and go left...theres tons of mountain loins, and hulking mountain lions...easy

All the lions you'll need are NE of the mountains at Dandred's Fold. North out of Southshore, west on road toward silverpine and go north along the mountains before you actually get to silverpine border. Follow mountains and then Lordamere lake coastline north and then NE to lions. Watch out for 2 Elite's in a shack on the lake. Lions are lvl 34 but there are also all the Syndicates you'll need for ring quest. They're tougher at lvl 36- 40. Solo'd bothe quests in about 80mins with my 35 warrior.

Ok, ya'll, you don't need to run all over. There are all the lions of both types that you need at 39,80 and there abouts. There is also a vendor who can repair you up there, it is a battlefield entrance cave. For those without Cosmos, you just run on the road north out of Southshore, and when you hit the east-west road, go off the road north and keep going to the northwest slightly. You will pass Darrow Hill on your left. Keep going until you get just a smidge to the right of the point of the mountains on your map, called The Headland. You DO NOT need to go anywhere near the mill or the lake. Mainly you pass some ogres and several starving lions.

Trust your girl.

Um, there are no "meats" to collect on the quest Costly Menace. You just have to kill Mountain Lions and Hulking Mountain Lions.

If you find the above direction slightly confusing. just find a way to go to the top of hill where the yeti cave is located. donno if there's road leading up to there coz' my graphic cards can only handle low detail graphics and roads are not shown. but anyway, if that part of the map is not explored, you probably wont understand what he means by spur?

i found some at 74,60 ... across from chillwind point(lvl 30 warrior quest) and there's plenty of hulking and regular lions there .. ALSO ! a rare spawn lvl 45 elite ! drops great items ! spawns in that area ... he's aggressive so becarefull and if you have a 50+ main or alt or w/e keep him in that area incase you find him ! happy hunting

The location to get into this area is 49/70 it is actually at the top of the map in between Corrahn's Dagger. I wandered around forever looking for it, so hopefully this will help you all in the future!

31,84 alterac mountains for regular mountain lions (and very few hulking)

55,30 is nothing but hulking mountain lions, just north of strahnbrad.

You'll find plenty of both at the Headland in Alterac Mountains. Go to coordinates 38,90.

lVL 33 - 2700 XP, 100 Stormwind Faction

I completed this quest near Stormpike. To get there follow the road north past Tarren Mill toward Alterac Mtns. Just as you reach Alterac there will be a big log on the left side of the road @ 51,67. Turn left and you will find a path leading back southish up the mountain. At the top you will find 3 plateaus at the mountains base & Stormpike (39,80). The first plateau is Corrahn's Dagger, with a Syndicate Assasin's camp (you can complete the Syndicate Assasins quest here, but you will have to wait for respawns, I suggest going to the other camp east of the log earlier mentioned). Anyhow, the next two plateaus are The Headland (42,78) and then Gavin's Naze (30,85). You should find plenty of Moutain Lions and Hulking Mountain Lions`at these places. If you are just west of Stormpike and don't see any lions it is b/c someone was just there and killed them all.

As some other people have posted, please note that these places and subsequentially the coords are just over the border in the Alterac Mountains. If you are just looking at coords on your map and running to them in Hillsbrad you will find yourself in the ocean.

After completing this quest I did some exploring and found many Hulking Mountain lions at the northern part of the river behind Tarren Mill @ 80,60.
