Find Deathguard Kel and heal his wounds using Lesser Heal (Rank 2). Afterwards, grant him Power Word: Fortitude and then return to Dark Cleric Beryl in Brill.

Description

Our power comes from darkness and shadow, <name>, but that is not your only role. You have acknowledged that there is merit in knowing the healing arts. This is wise. But before you can know the dark, you must also know the light. And for this, I have a test for you.

North of the cemetery is a wounded Deathguard--Deathguard Kel. He has protected us from gnolls for some time, and needs healing. But, you must also fortify his body before he can return to duty. Do both with your spells, and then return to me.

First I did Power of Fortitude then I healed him and it didnt come back as complete.&nbsp I had to heal him first THEN do power of fortitude and it worked just fine>:)

you dont have to disabable addons.. if you r using add ons just use your spellbook for heal and fortitude.. and yup! its done...

If you heal Kel and nothing happens try turning off any mods you have on effecting magic. I tried over and over again, even dropped the quest. finally I turned off cosmos and it worked.

I had trouble with this also.

Select the spells directly from your spellbook and it'll work just fine, UI mods or not.

Can't get any easier that this one. There is a gate at the northern part of the graveyard. The NPC you need, Deathguard Kel, is kneeling down and is at 50% health. Once done, he'll say some kind words and then bow to you.

Just go up to him, he has about 85% hp, then heal him (i had rank2). After that I waited a little bit and then gave him fortitude, just turned the quest in.

I used rank 3 and then fortified and the quest wouldn't complete.&nbsp It only works if you FIRST use rank 2, THEN do the fortify.

When I go to Deathguard Kel he is at full health. I try to heal him the fortitude but it does nothing as i figured. I tried abandoning the quest the going back to clyric to get it and it still does the same thing. even if i log out of the game and then back in.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with this quest until I read the directions again. It says to use Lesser Heal Rank 2. I abandoned the quest and got it again. Went back to Kel but he was at full health now. I healed him with rank 2 anyway and it worked.

Just use "Lesser Heal" lv2, after use "Fortitude" on soldier. quest complete!
