The farmer is a blond lady who spawns among the trees of the orchard that's near the road.&nbsp She's in the East end of the orchard. Easy to kill solo at Lev. 26.
Citizen Wilkes walks along the road on the north side of the smithy.&nbsp He comes from the NW towards the smithy.&nbsp Easy to kill solo at Lev 26 if you clear the footmen out of the aggro range and wait for him.
The Clerk is inside the white building with the wall around it.&nbsp I think there's 2 footmen and 2 councilmen with him, so a party of three can kill him, but they'll die before they get out.
Can't remember exactly where the miner was.

I found Hackett at 31,52.&nbsp It looked like he should've been at the previously stated coords based on the fact that there was the second, level 30 named NPC there, but he was at 31,52, barely wandering.&nbsp Maybe it was a bug, but check it out if you can't find him.

Farmer Kabala is with the farmers and peasants at the southermost part of the Fields. She's easy to kill solo.

Citizen Wilkes wanders the road between the fields and the buildings. Just wait until he's away from the footmen, and he's easy to kill solo.

Clerk Horrace is in the Town Hall. You will either have to aggro him from the enterance, probably with adds, or sneak/fight your way into the hall. Bring a friend, it'll be a lot easier.

Miner Hackett wanders around Azurelode Mine, and you not only have to find him, but fight your way through level 26-27 Miners. Reccomended that you bring a friend.

Wouldn't recommend doing this quest at 18 when you can get it, unless you enjoy damaging your armor, and running to your dead body from the graveyard.

You actually have to go INSIDE the mine, to get him. Use the lower entry (ground level), turn right and keep going. Before you reach end, there's a big cave on the left. Kill 1 by 1 to clean up the mobs, he's right next to the other VIP there. You can pull him without aggro the other lvl 30 (he calls 2 lvl 28 helpers!). I soloed it easy @ lvl 30.

The Clerk is in the large white building with the wall around it killing off the footmen & councilmen is no problem until you get to the last room, where the Clerk is.&nbsp You can clear the 2 guys just inside the doorway, but as soon as you enter the room you'll get rushed by the Clerk & 3 of his friends.

Then if you're like me you run all the way outside & have to start all over, because everyone respawns.

I didn't find the Miner yet, but I will... when I come back with some friends.

You'll find wilkes walking on the dirt road that connects the buidlings.

go south of where yuo find the other guys to the azurelode mine. when you go in the lower entrance (follow the path down) go to the right. there is a room at the end of the tunnel. it is miner hackett with a few miners but you can pull him out fairly easy

If you get Miner Hackett I was in a group with a lvl 27 and i was 25, If you are a hunter then pull the left side of the 2 guys and move back into the little room by the exit. Kill the 2 guys and then heal. Then&nbsp go back into the big room and get the others, then get Hackett.

lol solo'ed this bit as a 26 hunter, all u need is a stubborn unwillingness to die, a white lion, and a whole lot of arrows. Pull your marks out from their friends, and save concussive shot for when they chicken out and try to scarper off!

Apparently, Citizen Wilkes likes to walk towards the house where Farmer Getz tends to spawn. That's a prime location to pick him off.

The Bow vendors for the most - as a gun-toting hunter, they were all useless to me.

Pick this quest up at the same time you get Battle of Hillsbrad. You'll complete it as you proceed through the series.

(1) You will probably find Citizen Wilkes at the same time you are killing the two farmers in the first Battle of Hillsbrad quest. I believe he spawns in front of the house where Farmer Kalaba is, but he wanders the Hillsbrad area. You'll probably kill him several times over the course of the first four Battle of Hillsbrad quests. Can be soloed -- several times if necessary.

(2) If you haven't killed Farmer Kalaba already, you will find her in the middle of the field where you are killing Peasants for the second Battle of Hillsbrad quest. Can be soloed.

(3) Whitestead is in the main part of City Hall. Kill him when you are doing the fourth Battle of Hillsbrad quest for Councilmen. The notes above are right in that you will need a group for this one, as there are seven mobs in City Hall. However, a full group isn't necessary if you are either high enough level or skilled enough I duoed this as a 31 Warlock (with VW) and 29 Mage without a death. A group of three at lower levels should be fine if you have crowd control.

(4) The fifth part of Battle of Hillsbrad has you kill Miners and a named Foreman. Do Miner Hackett here. I saw him in the same room as Foreman Bonds once, but his location may vary. You do not need a group for this a duo is more than enough and it can be soloed.

Any and all of the quests that deal with Hillsbrad Fields have become insanely annoying for me and my questing partner, and this one is no exception. Citizen Wilkes and Farmer Kalaba were relatively easy: as previous posters said, you'll probably encounter Wilkes multiple times during the Battle of Hillsbrad chain, and Kalaba was easy enough to kill (a couple of times :) while we were taking out the Hillsbrad Peasants.

The other two, however, have become the bane of my existence. Clerk Whitestead is in the middle of the town hall surrounded by half a dozen other mobs, including a named 30, and the respawn rate and links/adds in the room are insane, definitely beyond the 25 warlock with voidwalker and 22 shaman that were trying to take them on. (P.S. They were also beyond the 27 mage who decided to run in, aggro the entire room at once, and die in about 3 seconds flat, thus dumping all the aggro on us. :)

I've heard that Miner Hackett will spawn in multiple places in the mine, but I had the good luck of finding him in the same room as a named 30 who will summon 2 29 guardians as soon as you think you have the fight with him in the bag (what fun!). Needless to say, they scattered my various undead bones all over that mine in a matter of seconds. I'll give it another try tonight when my questing buddy is on again.

In short, I will be very, VERY happy to see the back of this quest.

can someone give the exact cord's where i can find all the murderer's

speaking of signs... do you know any other "sign quests" in tirisfall, silverpine, Tarren mill or hillsbrad?

i don't wanna miss any quest... and i discovered that ones in TM by accident...

was a level 20 mage w/ basically a raid group we went around killing em' all.....

You'll probably kill Citizen Wilkes a half dozen times before you even get this quest. He wanders up and down the road between Farmer Getz's place and the town hall. He's also very nosy, and will jump into any fight within 100 yards of him.

i ve done this quest solo with 26lvl hunter ... it is damn easy

Level 28 Hunter solo.

Outside you have a wall along the road with a footman at the gate. Clear him.

Then a paved walk to the steps with 2 Footmen that you have to pull one at a time. Clear any mobs close to this walkway.

One mob inside the door: solo pull.
Turn left to side room: one footman - solo pull.

Main Hall:
Phase I -
In the back are two: councilor and one other. Hit the councilor while still in the side room and run outside - only two will come. You break line of sight and the councilor has to follow. Burn down councilor and then the add.

Clear any respawns outside and the one footman across the path up near the Farmers. You are going to need running room.

Phase II - 5 left in the main room: four in the lower area including one named guy, and the big boss up on the platform in back. Re-enter the main room and tag the closest guy and run out. Four lower mobs will aggro but not the big guy, Horace Whitestead. Pull them outside onto the stone path.

Concentrate all damage on the named guy and kill him. Then run. If you are on the walkway, you won't have to run far before they give up.

Then do it again. You should be able to get the remaining three.

Return and defeat big guy solo.

Miner Hackett is inside the mine, turn right, and then turn left as soon as you see a large chamber, he should be just inside this chamber and on the right.

Found Wilkes outside the smithy in Hillsbrad Fields, saw him pop there several times.

The required level is 19 not 17. Got the bow for my hunter with a little help from a guildmate ) Really good for level 19.

This wand in the hands of a level 20 is certainly entertaining!
