Searching for the Lost Satchel

Search Ragefire Chasm for Maur Grimtotem's corpse and search it for any items of interest.

Description

The troggs are not the only thing that interested Magatha in Ragefire Chasm. She has heard word that one of her servants, a Maur Grimtotem, found something peculiar while in the Chasm, but he never made it out to show her what. She'd like Maur's body found--if it still exists--and any signs of what he found while attempting to speak to the troggs.

Return to Magatha any items of interest, and I'm sure she would be very generous in her reward.

Again, seek the Chasm in the darkest areas of Orgrimmar.

I have completed the quest. Its fairly easy. When you first enter go all the way to the end where there are 3 ways to go. left, right, and up (up leads to the boss). turn right and go all the way down till u start going up a hill with a dead end. Turn left into that little room and u will see Grimtotem's body laying down with like 4 other troggs. Kill the troggs and collect your item.

Okay, get this quest from Rahauro, an npc walking around on Elder rise, in thunder bluff.

When you have the quest, go to orgrimmar, get a lvl 16+ party and enter the RFC, found in the cleft of shadows.

Now, fight your way to a pit of those troggs. when cleared the pit, take the first right, which eventually leads you to the NPC that commpletes this quest. he is guarded by a boss(Oggleflint lvl 16 elite) and 2 thrash mobs. should be piece of cake.

In any instance there are elite mobs. As long as you have a proper group, anywhere from level 13 or 14 (your prefrence) and up,and a regular group (tank, healer, aoe, dps and other) you should be fine and have an easy time with this quest and all the others.

After you enter RFC, there is only one path that leads to an open area with a group of troggs in the middle. there is a path to the left and two to the right, one of which leads up a ramp. Don't take that one, take the other path on the right. At the end of that path is a small cave with Maur's body there.

Maur Grimtotem can be found at 61.0, 41.0. You reach that by following the path at 65.0, 67.0.

The two mobs in the alcove can be pulled without pulling Oggleflint.

This is one of two RFC-quest in Thunderbluff, talk to Rahauro again for the other quest (Testing an Enemy's Strength, https://classicdb.ch/?quest=5723). He is located on the Elder Rise in front of the big tent, patrolling back and forth.

Right at the first area where you encounter Troggs(the room where there's a ton of them), there's a small path that leads to the right and up. Follow that, and Maur is in a small cave at the top. It's a just before the larger ramp to get to the next area.

ragefire chasm is located in ogrimmar in the bottom of the shadow part. it looks like a swirling portal near the lowest point.
