Varimathis in the Undercity starts this quest.

Okay.&nbsp If you're in the UnderCity, navigate your way to the Apothecarium.&nbsp There is a long path leading down in a long spiral.&nbsp There will be 2 level 60 elite Deathguards on each side of the walls all down the path.&nbsp This is a good tip you're on the right path.

Once you get down, locate Varimathras (he's a big purple dude w/ big wings).&nbsp Get the quest from him.

Leave the UnderCity and go to the Zeppelin Tower.&nbsp Take the Zeppelin to Orgrimmar.

Once you've made it to Orgrimmar, enter the city and locate the Cleft of Shadows.&nbsp Once you've entered the Cleft of Shadows, you will be headed down a wooden ramp.&nbsp But if you notice at the very top of the ramp, the railing has a space between it and nothing.&nbsp Jump through the space to the left from the top of the ramp.&nbsp Then turn around and you should see the "portal" to the instance.

Once you've entered the instance (this quest is preferably done in a group of 3 or more since every NPC is elite), carefully fight your way through RFC (Ragefire Chasm).&nbsp You'll eventually kill the right people, and pick up what you need.

Now just go back to the zeppelin, back to the UnderCity, back to the Apothecarium, back to the Royal Quarter, find the path that lead you to Varimathras, go to Varimathras and turn it in.&nbsp I got 1450 XP, some money, and some gifts.&nbsp Cool mission but really difficult if you're&nbsp not careful.

DO NOT GET COCKY IN RFC!&nbsp Those elites will beat you down quick if you aggro too many of em at once.

Dont, believe the hackxor thottbot, this both starts and ends at varimathras, found in Undercity. There is a path in the apothecarium that leads right to him(notice the bunch of elites on the way).

Now that you have the quest. head to RFC, the instance in Orgrimmar.(cleft of shadow to be more precise)fight your way through the troggs, earthborers, and elementals.
Now youll get to a big area filled with searing blade cultists. The books drops random off one of these.

When you have the books, get to varimathras again for some exp and nice rewards

Ragefire Chasm is located in the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar.&nbsp It is an instance portal.&nbsp You do the quest there.

Varimathras is a Dreadlord, at the Royal quarter which is a room of apothecarium, and you will see Lady Sylvanas also.

With a Tauren Druid bringing the TB quests, and an Undead rogue bringing the Undercity quest, two hunters and a warrior, ranging in levels from 11 (me) to 17 (warrior), we cleared the instance in one run, and finished all quests. The books dropped from consecutive cultist mobs in the camps to the left of the main ramp down on the ramp leading up to the Satyr boss.

The really fun part was, only the rogue and I knew what we were doing. Thankfully, our tank offered to start tanking (IE switch to Defensive stance and Taunt) after the first two wipes, and things went pretty smoothly after that. Of course, I died twice pulling mobs off our druid because the tank had a bad case of target fixation, but hey, that's what hunters are for, right?

Anyhow, long story short (too late), yes, the books drop off any old cultist, although it seems to me that almost every time I've done this instance, it was cultists on the ramp up to the Satyr that dropped them. In fact, it

has
been every time.

the dungeon is at 52,49 ragefire chasm. directly opposite the gate is a second quest for the same dungeon.
