Description

I have reshaped the Mind's Eye into a Soul Gem. Its purpose is twofold: you must use it to stun Yenniku, and once stunned place it upon his head to entrap his soul.

Then, bring the gem to Nimboya.

Yenniku dwells with Zanzil the Outcast, at the Ruins of Aboraz, along the Crystal Shore on the distant Cape of Stranglethorn.

Standing on the small hill on the NW side of the ruins you can see Yenniku.&nbsp There was 1 lvl 44 zombie between me and him.&nbsp After I killed the zombie I just walked toward Yenniku right cliked on the org to stun him.&nbsp Clicked on him again and completed the quest.&nbsp Very easy to solo.&nbsp Coordinates (38,58)

You can find "Yenniku" in the "Ruins of Aboraz" (39, 58).
Use the Soul Gem on him which stuns Yenniku and you are able to talk to him for filling up the gem.
Quest was not buged, so it seems to have been fixed.

Just to help combat the nay sayers, this quest was bugged for a few patches, as I myself had to talk to a GM about the issue. I haven't tried it since the release of 2.0, but i guess it's been fixed since. Hopefully someone can confirm.

Finally, this is fixed almost 1 year after I first tried it. Bliz shoulda upped the reward for those who bother to go back and finally finish it.
Soloed as a lvl70 Warrior.

He is at 39,58 not on the hill. he is inside the first corridor of the ruin as stated above. You go near him and use the quest object on him... he will be stunned for a bit and u wont be able to talk to him but after a few seconds u can talk to him and pickup your orb or whatever it is. very easy quest

No one has mentioned it so far, but you have to be very very close to use the stone, almost on top of him. So don't expect to stun him from afar, or through the wall.

This quest is fixed.&nbsp I completed it five minutes ago.&nbsp Just use your gem to stun him and then you'll get a talk bubble to complete the quest.&nbsp No question mark or anything else appears above his head.&nbsp You just have to be close enough to talk to him.

This series goes on forever, and when you do finally finish the possiable rewards are horriable.

It's a hell of a lot of work for the reward.

I was in STV today and on a whim I thought I would check out this quest again. So i went to Nimboya and got a new gem, then headed over to the Ruinz of Aboraz. Had to wait 5 min for hiim to spawn in that first side room (as you approach from the west. Then I clicked on the gem (as I stood next to him)a blue question mark appeared. Then I clicked on Yenniku again and TADA! Finally this isn't bugged anymore!
Got 5050 XP and choice of the
Medal of Courage or the Nimboya's Mystical Staff

Unless they have fixed it yet again... this is all you do. Click the Soul jem, and when he is dazed, you just right click on him, and complete quest.

The quest works like this you must first us the soul stone on Yenniku and after he dissapears you have to wait till he respawns to then use the stone again and the ? will apear and you have to complete the quest if you do it this way it will work! GL HF

A little note if you people are still waiting for this quest to be fixed, it's never going to happen. The posts on this quest being broken have spanned to months ago and still Blizzard has not gotten their thumbs out of their asses to fix a little line of code.

If you think you'll be an exception and finally get this done, I will kiss my own butt if you're able to. Just drop the quest and the Soul Gem and move on to something else.

Get to the last step of a long freakin' quest line only to find it bugged. Blue question mark appears over him for a second and then vanishes before you can even click. Even waited around and tried it twice.

What the hell? I'm on Kilrogg server. Went to finish this string of quests and ended up really pissed. only had to kill 2 mobs to get to yenniku, but after i stunned him there was a 2 minute cooldown time on the soul gem. I only had to wait another 30 seconds when he despawaned. It just said some text about his spirit being free.
