Get Me Out of Here!

Escort Melizza Brimbuzzle, then speak with Hornizz Brimbuzzle at the Kodo Graveyard in Desolace.

Description

Get me out of here!

I came up to the Valley of Spears to talk to the Maraudines. I thought I could do a little business with them... but they don't want to talk! I think they want to eat me!

Get me out of here and my brother Hornizz will pay you big! He's at our camp next to the kodo graveyard, to the east.

Let's hurry, <name>. Not two minutes ago I heard some centaurs talking about getting wood for their cookpot...

This took me a few runs and you may need a mount, not sure.

1. Make sure the path is clear.
2. Start the quest.
3. When the 4 Centaur show up, move to your left and keep moving east as far from them as possible. They will not attack and disappear.
4. When the group at the gate appears with the two dogs, jump on your mount and aggro them. Run them around for a little while, they will eventually disappear.
5. By this time she is running to the quest turn-in.

Melizza is in a small wicker box next to a tent at the coordinates of 33,54. Hornizz is on the southwest side of the Kodo Cemetary at 47,62.

For those using coordinates, the Goblin's Cage is located at 33,53, just around the side of the tent entrance. During the escort in addition to the regular mobs in the area, 4 maulers will spawn as she approaches the first Y intersection, and 3 wranglers along with their hyena's will spawn just as she exits the mountain area.

As long as you have some crowd control or assistance it shouldn't be too difficult to clear these larger spawns, but you are not able to pre-clear them or pull singles out to even the odds out.

I think this may be horde only.. I tried to talk to her but a sword appeared, not a chat bubble. Maybe a faction issue?

Also, FYI the camp is to the right when you enter from the East... it would be to the left if you're oming from the South.

Get this quest from the caged goblin in the Valley of the Spears. If you enter from the front of the valley, she is towards the right. You will need to clear both regular mobs and mobs that appear every so often to attack her. Bring at least one friend and it's not hard at all.

I cleared one at a time the whole way up. Than started. Stayed left of the guards. Avoided them. As for the dogs and stuff, that didnt' work out. Tried again except instead of fighting, I had them attack me, I had bout 4 life when I feigned and they went after escort dude. Complete.. handed in quest. As for letting her out, when you accept, the door opens.

I randomly decided to do this while attempting to get the horrible drop rate mouthpiece for the Khan Hratha quest. I figured I had to kill these guys anyway, why not spice it up and get some bonus xp?

WRONG.

This just plain isn't worth the reward. 45 s? Please. Just pick the centaurs off one by one at your leisure and you can get more xp than this quest gives and you won't die. Why, oh why, do I keep trying escorts?

37 Combat rogue, managed to distract the first big pull, but the second one just outside got me. Sapped one, but the other 5 killed her and I couldn't seem to pull them off her.

Definitely bring a friend unless youre a hunter, lock, or level 45 or so.

I have tried it 3 times with a level 43 paladin.

The 2 patrols ALWAYS come at the same time, whatever you do. Even if you agro them as soon as they appear, the fool will come very quickly and WILL take agro from at least one of the centaurs...&nbsp

The directions by Kathucka (below) are accurate. The female gnome is located behind the large tent on the right, as you approach from the south of the camp through the east entrance into the valley of spears, (north eastin the camp). The camp is approximately 34, 56 in cosmos coordinates. Quest was easy for a 48 hunter.

soloed 44 warrior(!) after failing initially in zerker stance. had to roll it in defensive stance with shield. took ages. the wrangler mobs tend to run away and shoot at you. i think the goblin ended up doin more dmg than i did on the last pull. 4 wranglers + 3 dogs all up.

Didn't have to much trouble with this quest as a lvl 41 Beast Mastery Hunter. Make sure to put a trap at the end of the road, under the arc. Start with a multi shot, trap, FD, let pet switch targets to get aggro, Mend pet up all the time, and i could down them one by one by Auto-Shotting. 100% health, 80% mana at the end of the fight. It's not as hard as everyone states.

You will need to be able to tackle a dual pair spawn of lvl40 marauders, in addition to any patrols you didn't kill before starting the escort quest.

I suspect it is a mistake that the pair of patrols start so close to each other so you need to be able to handle four mobs.

You can tackle the few mobs coming into the valley no problem, you can get the quest from her.

However, you can't kill the the 4 lvl 40's when you try and leave the immediate area, nor can you kill the 4-6 mobs as you leave the valley.&nbsp Also, if you or her die you fail the quest, die twice and she is no longer there for you to get the quest a 3rd time.

Not being funny but is this suppose to be a group quest or something ?&nbsp Don't try it solo unless u r lvl 45 or something.&nbsp I'm lvl 39, just forget it.

hmm ... I dunno about you guys, but I had hard time (and maybe bad luck) soloing thois as 46 rogue, at the beginning I had 4 x 40 lvl mobs, my sap missed so I had to fight them all 4, then 2 easy mobs, but at the end I had 4x39 lvl centaurs plus 3 37 or 38 lvl dogs, which is kinda too much to fight all at once, but no I was able to sap one centaur so I made it, but still, if this is a common spawn for that quest you will need a group

I tried this as a 37 warrior as I was doing the Khan Hratha quest (tried it solo after finishing that quest with a group) since we had recently cleared the area. Got her all the way to the entrance ... and there were seriously 8 level 37-38 mobs gathered around the entrance... watched them attack the %^&* out of her, ran, and abandoned quest, never looking back. Escort quests are usually not worth the time and effort you have to put into them.

Found this out by accident while doing the chicken escort quest in Hinterlands, but if you pull the mobs from far away, then kite, the NPC should just continue walking away, and if you can kite the mobs long enough, they should eventually "get bored" and head back.

I was doing this on my 57 druid (yeah was a bit too high, but I wanted to try the quest seeing the girl locked up in there after helping my guild run thru maraudon lol), but the "nuke mobs from distance, then kite them to let NPC run by" thing worked.

on way way to killing hratha today i decided to do this mission... 44 belf paly so i felt confident i could get things done. wrong! the 1st mob that spawns are 4 warrior (lotsa helath) style guys (lvl40s). these werent too much hassle. carried on.. killing a few lvl39 mobs... cake basically... then the final mob spawned and OMFG. 3 39 hunter types with 3 lvl 37 doggies... in the end their dps overwhlemed me and i had to bubble... which was when they slaughtered the goblin >.< if i used lay on hands i could have done it (but i was saving up 4 hratha!) probs... basically ignore this quest unless your in a group.. cos it sucks.

I can't seem to find the NPC to finish this quest(Hornizz). The only camp east of the Kodo Graveyard that I can find is the one with the pack kodos or whatever. But this guy isn't there. If anyone has found him, can you help us out a little?

As a 43 rouge I would say this quest is a waste of time.
Unless you have a group, don't even try it... too many centaurs
and they just appear out of nowhere when whats-her-face gets close.
i would've loved to go ahead and clear it away, but i was just waiting there when all of a sudden, im jumped by like 4 guys... 2 fine, 3 easy enough -- but 4?.... nah.

Like a good Q should be its a challenge

First clear all the NPFCs - 4 new centaurs spawn at the path split

Melizza takes the left path - I led the 4 down the right - if I had left combat there probably wouldnt have been a fight but 3 stayed with me - I walked backwards instead of ran

Then there were 4 new centaurs with pets outside - I ran to the right and died - probably could have made it but again walked backwards instead of running

Melizza went straight on and Q complete

L42 NE R at the time. Would clear out all NPCs prior to opening cage, letting Melizza out, and watch her saunter down the valley until we would eventually meet the group of 6-7 NPCs that she would walk straight into.

I tried everything, to include stealthing far in advance and Sapping one of the NPCs, then fighting the others...but my level was too low every time, and I would have to Vanish to avoid being killed. Still couldn't get this done even casting some "Scroll" spells on myself.

While I was waiting immediately after a failed attempt...a L60 Warrior passed by en route to Maradon. I asked her to help me for three minutes...and she agreed...since she was waiting for the rest of her party to arrive.

We went back to the cage, waited for the respawn...which took several minutes, then went back down the valley and kicked NPC butt. I helped her kill the last group of NPCs, but Melizza had disappeared! I checked my quest log, and the quest was marked complete. So, I went to the Kodo Graveyard and Hornizz was waiting to complete the quest.

I got lucky on this one. Would not have been able to complete as a L42 NE R no matter how many tricks I tried (Distract didn't work either!)

This one isn't an elite quest, but it is distinctly not a solo quest. It's way too hard.

The NPC heads down the mountain to the east. If you clear a path, there are two waves of linked mobs that will jump you.

"Linked", as in, "you can't pull just one or two...they all come together."

The first wave is four fighter centaurs. With the NPC's help, a lot of skill, a couple of extra levels, and a bit of luck, you might be able to solo them.

The second (and last) wave, forget it! It was too chaotic for me to count everyone, but I think there were five centaurs, and three of them had pet hyenas! Yikes! Bring at least one helper...maybe two or three.

If you get into trouble, let the NPC die. You'll fail the quest, but the bonus quest mobs will fade away immediately, and you'll be safe. Then, you just have to wait for the quest NPC to respawn (it takes a few minutes...re-clear the path).

Once you kill the second wave, the NPC runs to the hut where you turn in the quest. Just follow her.

I just grabbed this quest thinking she'll run into all the respawned mobs ahead etc. I managed to solo it as a 44 human mage aoe'ing the hell out of them. I came out with less than 5hp left, but completed it. She seems to be very competent at taking one on on her own, to the point where I took on 3 and she killed the other by herself. Also, the second lot of mobs has a couple of dogs.

Should be a piece of cake with 2 ppl, but with one I can't imagine doing it, unless ur as lucky as I was. Others have given coords so I won't bother.
