Description

Maybe you heard or maybe you haven't... my crew and I was out fishing near Ranazjar Isle, north of the wrecked ship off the coast up north. We used to fish there all the time; now all I do is think of a way to seek revenge for my fallen comrades.

The naga attacked us one morning, killing everyone except me.

Me conscience can't handle the guilt, <class>; I need you to go and fry them naga for me. I'll make the effort worth your while; you think you can help me with that?

This quest is good for experience, though if you die there is a long walk back from the Kodo Graveyard. Here is some information about this quest:

Slitherblade Myrmidon: (Warrior) Can be found at the small island at (33,22). There are also Sorceresses here sometimes. They have a high attack speed.

Slitherblade Sorceress: (Mage) Can be found along the coastline (34,37) to (41,22), or at the aforementioned island. However, they are not farther out than that - there are different spellcasters out there. They cast frostbolt.

Slitherblade Naga: (Warrior) Can be found along the coastline (34,37) to (41,22). They are a basic fighting class.

You probably will encounter other nagas during this quest, including different Warriors and Paladins. You know you'll have gone too far if you have come to Ranazjar Isle, and while there are Myrmidons here, some of the mobs on the island are out of the quest level range (36+). There are plenty of frost enemies around so Cold resistance is good, and water breathing or swim speed potions could be beneficial as well.

Other stuff:

- Good for rogues (Moldy and Waterlogged footlockers around)
- Good for herbalists (tons of stranglekelp)
- Helps to be on the Clam Meat quest, as they are close to each other.
- Watch out for the Deepstrider Searcher, 39+ Elite giant that wanders around the coast.

Make sure you've picked up the quest "Claim Rackmore's Treasure!" at location 36,30 (it's a book) before you do this quest.
This far (I'm on the quest right now) the Slitherblades has dropped one of the required quest items.

Myrmidon: Mostly on the isle itself
Naga: Under the water just out to sea from the coast of kalimdor.
Sorceress: Both areas

Also, be sure to pick up Sceptre of Light quest before you do this, as the second part in that chain leads you to Ranazjar Isle.

hi all, this quest is easy. Did it with a 35 undead warlock and only died once. They dont attack in groups. But I suggest you bring a warlock who gives you unending breath. They can be found around 40,19. Good luck to you all :P

im a 34 undead rogue and the quest was extremely easy. for one thing i can stay underwter for a log time (the undead racial) without a underwater breathing potion. was hard iof u aggro but just pull them out one by one and you will do fine.

You'll find plenty of Slitherscales & Sorceresses near the NW desolace coast, but for plenty of Myrmidons you will need to go into the reef itsself. The two smaller islands near the coast and the third largest to the NW form a triangle and within that area is the reef.

Be sure to bring some sort of water breathing as it will come in handy.

If you goto the small island to kill myrmidons you should also get the quest CLAM BAIT in shadowprey village. South of the island underwater is 1 naga Mymridion you need and 1 clam, they respawn at same time. so you can do quests together.

Two Mymridons spawn on the big island in the north and there is one spawn location under the water near the southern edge of the island. I just farmed these spawn locations to meet the objective.

I found the sorceresses and myrmidions easily on ranzajar island. It took me no longer than 10 minutes to get all 10. I am on my way to find the naga now.

By Anonymous on 04/28/2006 (Patch 1.10.1)
The Myrmidons and Sorceresses are easier to find than the Nagas, so I suggest starting with them. Go to the little island in the water at 32, 22 and look around for those. When you are done head to 36, 20 and go to the bottom. You can get Air Bubbles there and there are quite a few Nagas swimming around if you turn to the north. If you are afraid to go away from the Bubble Fissure just use a spell or attack to lure them to the bubbles. That way you can fight and have unlimited breath. Good luck.

Note: Don't let the Deepstrider Giant get you unprepared his passes along the island from time to time.
