coords are 53,72

The elite is bigger and a red color so it's easy to distinguish it...

A healer will be needed if you wanna do this quest at lvl 20-24ish as the spider will have much more hp than you...

He has decent DPS and can poison so be prepared.

I solo-ed as a lvl 20 BE pally

Im quite new to this game so this mob seemed kinda difficult for me, I did solo as a lvl 22 Warlock and since its not a bad staff for warlock Imma tell you the strat i ended up using for any other budding warlocks like me! He bacame Immune to fear pretty quick, so this is how I played it:

1.First off, prep up, create a lesser health stone, summon voidwalker, crack on demonskin.
2.Clear the entire area as fast as you can (I died twice becuase I got links >.<)
3.Open the fight with curse of weakness, charge voidwalker in then use corruption. let him get to about 80% health(voidwalker i mean) then lay on immolate. I waited til voidwalker was at 80% becuase the first try I pulled hate if I was too hasty.
4.keep on the above 3 spells until voidwalker is at about 10% and then sacrifice him.
5.take some punishment and deal as much damage as possible until he wears through sacrifice shield (was about 4 hits max for me) then...
6.fear Besseleth asap, be quick as you can cos he hit me like a train haha I suppose in retrospect I'd count 3 hits then start casting fear, but I was unsure how many hits my shield could take.
7.Whilst he is feared the first time summon succubus and charge her at him, then re-fear as soon as you done that, for me it was almost perfect timing to summon succubus and then re-fear.
8.Go nuts on him, immolate, corruption, curse of agony, I feared him twice more and got him to about 20% in these 2 fears, after this though he became immune.
9.By the point he was immune he was hovering around 15-20% I finished this by keeping my DoTs on him, succubus hitting him and wanding/shadow bolting. When you get low health use the health stone and just know that you can kill him before he can kill you!

I ended the fight with no pet and about 50% health, no health drinks on me at the time, but if i had one I think it wouldve been much less stressful but a lot less exciting :D This was my first real kinda thrilling fight/good achievement and Im wearing this staff with mad pride lol >.<

Good luck to you! xxx

Did this as a 20 shaman, along with a 20 warrior who I met on the way in.&nbsp Was really tough, partly because I'm not used to being primary healer (this is my first character).&nbsp Anyway, got wiped once, killed her the second time around, and *then* the warrior says he didn't get the quest.&nbsp So I share it, and we sit around on her nest waiting for her to respawn.&nbsp We wait and wait, but she doesn't come back.&nbsp I happen to look around, and there she is on the other side of the ravine (multiple spawn sites).&nbsp We head over there, but before we can get past her little friends, a couple of lev 25ish guys charge in and wipe her out in about 20 seconds.&nbsp So we had to wait for a *third* respawn to finish the job.

Went in *again*, a couple hours later, to help a 23 warrior friend of mine.&nbsp It was cake.&nbsp But if I never see Shishir Valley again in my life, it'll be too soon.

I am a lvl 25 hunter and have a pet that is lvl 25.. Dishu actually. And the quest was way too easy. Just go in kill the spiders along the way.... and make your way up to the big red one. It was easy too with my pet. But I think I could have killed it alone too.

Coordinates 55 - 72 are right on!
Easy to get too ... when you pick up the quest from the post, just go west up thro the little path and poof there you are.

Good Luck and Have fun!

This is how I did it as a 23 Druid. In cat form, stealth around until you find Bess. Clean out the spiders around her. Flip into caster form&nbsp and mark of the wild and thorn yourself. Mana up, then root her, Faerie Fire her, and Moon Fire her. Wait until one of those disappears before reapplying it. I managed to do each of them twice before running out of mana. Took a mana potion and flipped into cat, but bear should work too, it's really your preference. By the time roots wears off, she is at barely 1/3 health. Knock her out. Worked perfectly. Then you cat form again and stealth out.

As of the 4/19 patch, Besseleth is now really an elite. (Previously she was labeled elite, but really had none of the stats of one.)

Stacking poison
Webs/Snares Primary Target then goes after second on agro list.

Was able to do it as a lvl20 lock with my Voidy. Had to use a Healthstone and a Health pot. When she snares the voidy fear her.

solo'd as a 23 warrior, took 1 healing potion. spent time attacking spiders around her first without using any special attacks to fill up my rage bar, then charged at her. as soon as i got to her, i punched Retaliation (the closest thing that warriors have to an "I Win" button).

Did this as a lvl 19 hunter, BM spec

Set up immolation trap, send in pet, obviously hunters mark, wait for pet to get aggro, serpant sting, arcane shot, normal few shots, throw super sticky glue (from one of the very first quests in senjin) carry on shooting, spidey breaks free, fear spider, pet gained aggro again, move back far away again&nbsp arcane shot and concussive shot.

Was pretty hard but didnt use a pot, didnt have one X)&nbsp Good luck

the normal (non-elite) spiders nearby drop a small venom sac occasionally. These can be made into anti-venom by a trained first-aider, which proves rather useful in this fight. Particularly when alone

I tried to do this quest with a Night Elf Druid lvl 37! but despite I had gotten the quest from a poster in front of the way to Sishir Canyon, had killed the elite spider and had gotten its item, I couldn't complete it at Sun Rock Retreat. I went there, searched and I found nothing to complete. So if you are Alliance I recommend you don't waste your time in this quest.

Be advised that Besseleth has a very small pursuit radius and will disengage (and thus heal) if you accidentally draw her too far away from where she hangs out.

OK, I just soloed her as a lvl 19 paladin (prot spec), but I wouldn't really recommend it.

Came down to the last couple of hits which of us was going to die, and this was after I'd used both shields, stun, lay on hands, a healing pot & a bandage. I had maybe a tenth of my health left & no mana. The biggest problem I had was that I spent most of the last third of the fight waiting for my mana to regen so I could do more damage/heal...

If I was doing it again I'd bring along anti-venom (or make some while I was there - the spiders nearby do drop the only mat needed). I've never used the stuff before on any of my characters, but I blew through a fair bit of mana stopping her poison damage... (I'm assuming anti-venom's on a separate timer from bandages/pots btw)

Just solo'ed as a lvl 24 Hunter. Kill all the spiders around it, lay down a freezing trap and lure him into while constantly pelting him with arrows. Have pet tank and growl him while you continue to shoot him fromafar, he's toast in 20 secs to a minute. Dropped fang first time.

I agree this is an easy Elite quest. Soloed it easily at 21.

Also, if you're an Alliance race, don't waste your time with this quest. The wanted sign will allow you to accept the quest, but to complete it you need to talk to Maggran, who is a level 30 Tauren NPC smack in the middle of a Horde Village (Sun Rock Retreat) and will attack you on sight.
