Plant 10 Gaea Seeds in Gaea Dirt Mounds, and then return the remaining Enchanted Gaea Seeds to Tammra at Sun Rock Retreat.
  •
Gaea seed planted (10) [Enchanted Gaea Seed]
Enchanted Gaea Seeds
Provided Item:
Enchanted Gaea Seeds

Description

As you have seen, <class>, though the land is in pain, the cycle of life is a powerful thing. Now we must do our part help it along. You must plant these seeds at the center of the destruction, to the west, in the Charred Vale. Beware, for harpies and angry fire elementals still plague the scarred land.

<name>, take these enchanted Gaea seeds and plant them in fertile mounds of soil. The cycle of life must go on!

Solo'd this one at level 25 with a 25 pet. The only thing good about this quest is that you don't need go too far into the Charred Vale to plant the seeds. The bad thing is the mobs you need to fight to get to the mounds without getting disturbed. The mobs you'll be fighting are Bloodfury Harpies, Balisisks, chimereas and elementals. All that I found were level 25 to 28.

My result:
You gain 2000 experience
Your reputation with Thunder Bluff has increased.

I did this with my 22 mage, it wasn't too hard, I would just move around the high lvls, and plant the seeds, if I aggroed anything, I would use blink and run back to guards. If what I aggroed still followed me, the guards would kill it anyway. I would recommend doing this when it's still an orange quest because its not hard and it will give you more xp.

soled as a 22 mage - I could only kill up to 25 and that was quite hard. If you're a mage constantly use mana shield and blink and stay away from the fire elementals because they are immune to fire spells - I'm a fire mage

Gl I didn't die once thankfully, I got close, also just hearthstone out :D

if ur a mage like me and r finding this quest quite difficult, (i was lvl 23 when doin it), i found that if u cn see a mound with only one mob by it, run up to it and the mob will attack you. then, just cast frost nova and run out of reach, you can then start planting the seed and you should just have enough time before the mob breaks from teh frost nova, then you just run until the stop following.&nbsp hope that helps :)

I soloed this as a 19 druid, but it kind of defeats the purpose of extra exp for quests in doing so... yeah, i got the extra exp, but it took me a good twenty minutes of sneaking around to get it, and i got no exp from killing the mobs that i would have killed if i were higher level... so all in all i would say unless you can stealth or blink, don't do this until you are at least 21 as most mobs here are 24 and up.

solo'd as a level 24 mage, only died once, i just followed the mountains around the outside of the area, most of the mounds are around the outside rim anyway, took about 30 mins.

Solo'd at 26/warrior. Fairly easy quest, I didn't get touched nor did I have to kill anything. And I promise you will not die if you be patient and wait for a clearning until you plant the seeds.

For those that do not know: when you die, you repsawn near SRR and there is a shorcut that leads behind SRR to Charred Vale so it's not that long of a walk.

hella hard quest. The harpies respawn in a matter of seconds. If you die, graveyard is a billion miles away, and takes forever to get back to where you died. When you get back to your body, you will die when you come back to life because there are so many harpies there you cant move without agro at least 2 of em

Solo'd with my 22 troll hunter/22 pet...no luck. Heavily guarded and I died a trillion times, and it took forever to get out of there safely. The spirit healer is a million miles away from the Charred Vale, but I see a mention of a short cut near SRR. Where exactly is it? I'll have to come back to this with a friend. :(
