Description

You must test your battle prowess against the sleepless dreamers: The children of the Green Flight.

Travel to the Swamp of Sorrows and track down Somnus, drake champion of the Green Flight. Let flow your hatred; dominate the insect... Return to me with his skull...

For our group (3 warriors, mage, and shaman), he was the toughest by far. We killed Scryer and Chronalis in one try each, but Somnus took three. You may want to have nature protection potions handy, and nature resist as well. He also hits like a truck and has a knockback attack that throws you about 50 feet away and in the air.

He also has a circular path he takes through SoS, so pick an area where he goes, and after he passes, kill all the mobs in the area. Lots of trash, either crocs, or elite dragonkin (level 43-45). If you get knocked in to one of them, you have an add or two you don't need to deal with.

I solo'd this guy today using my 60 Lock.I used Unstable affliction,Curse of agony,corruption,and sipon life on him .Unstable affliction i used once first attack the rest i kept using while i ran down the coast line ..I kited this guy first try no probs at all just used dots and 1 swiftness pot to get some distance away from him at one point.dont get to close and keep the dots on him and u should have any probs aswell

His has a set path he flys around, but I found him at 78,69. He flys around that area.

Kited him with AotC, rank 1 Arcane, & distracting to Stonard. He's immune to serpent sting, so I started using distracting so he wouldn't evade bug from not enough threat. I didn't bother trying to get the guards to kill him, just ran inside the gates to town and ran out the opposite side and back again.

Took him down with a 60 feral druid, 60 holy priest, 60 fury warrior, 49 holy priest, and 49 fire mage. I thought it was a joke going after him with two 49's but he went down on the 2nd attempt. Definately bring a priest and some ranged and melee DPS.

He basically goes on a path around the lake where St is. Solo'd while ago on a 70 warlock. Felguard tanked I dotted and I just kept the guard healed and kept the dragon dotted. When he finally killed the felguard I used Fel domination to get him back soul shattered to get him off me, took a lil bit for the felguard to pick aggro back up and I almost died. Not that hard though. Just my take on it.
