Travel to Blackrock Spire and slay General Drakkisath. Gather his blood and return it to Rexxar.

Description

You will pay the General a visit, yes, but not as one of the Black Dragonflight.

You see, a ceremony is merely another term for blood letting to the Black Flight.

The latent amulet merely needs the blood of the General in order to become active. One of their crude failsafe mechanisms.

Return to Blackrock Spire and destroy Drakkisath. Bring his blood back here and I shall activate the key to Onyxia's lair.

yesterday i finished the quest and i was suprised that the blood was lootable for everyone who had the quest. i haerd that he will only drop one and u have to dice for it...

Warlord's Command is pretty much the only challenging part of this entire key chain. I did Warlord's one day, killed Rend the day after, and ground the rest of the chain in a day. =I Not hard at all if you've got a friend to grind with. Can't beat being a Scalebane tho, completely awesome. that being said, I've got to try and stir up some Onyxia funs. =D

Haha, rexxar gives this quest for the horde.

...

WTF we, alliance, have to die 5 time+ in a solo body run/teleport to get to our quest giver and the Horde waltz down the road to find rexxar? Well both ways are vary annoying in their own way, but at least they don't have to die! /tear :P

First we keep aside that the alliance quest is times more easier than this one...

I had been rushed because the next onyxia raid my guild was doing was just few days ahead. I just got a group - did LBRS , then went to UBRS for a rend run. At the next day I went again at UBRS for the eyes and did the whole chain "Test of Skulls" in few hours. At the next morning I did the last part involving killing General Drakkisath. So it was just annoying and wasting time. By the way we have a privilege of our quest being so long, since we get like 10 times more money and few good runs which means more money and items. Netherwind Crown here I come :D
