Description

<name>, you've done a fine job killing Grimtotem. If you dare, Grundig Darkcloud and his personal band of brutes is by far the worst of the lot. He was the one who led the brutal attack on my village.

You will find him in Grimtotem Post a bit further up the path to the west. Kill him, and I will be forever grateful.

Grundig Darkcloud doesn't have anything to do with Kaya and the quest she gives. He spawns at the entrance to the house independant of Kaya.

Coords confirmed.

A quick pointer, to make this easier.
Walk down the path away from the quest giver, walk past the first tents on your right. Walk through Camp Aparaje and up the hill, then turn right into the Tauren camp there. Follow the path round to the right for 60 / 70 yds, killing all the mobs one by one. You should kill your 6 brutes that way. Grundig is standing in the first tent on your left. Easily pulled on his own. Enter the tent to collect the escort quest, whilst you are there. The Tauren you escort will travel back the way you came, so it should be clear of mobs. Beware that you are jumped by&nbsp three tauren when you walk through Camp Aparaje.
Take care with the casters with staves as they heal themselves.

he is lvl 18, gaurded by a couple 17 sorcerers and 16 mercenaries. Not too bad as they are spread out a good deal. you will find Kaya in his hut.

If you follow the path straight almost completely through the village you will see on the right hand side a few grunts, a sorceror and a tent. He is standing just outside the tent. easy to kill if clear the are b4 you get him.

ok i found it to be better to follow the main path thru the ruined camp (its north east on the main path cant miss it). when you get through the camp look for the first path that heads right. after that just follow until you reach Darkcloud.
There are also some brutes that are there also but its better to go the back was so you dont aggro a ton. this strat is better for lower lvls that cant take melee very well as the brutes hit pretty hard. coords. are correct Good luck : )

The Kaya quest did not work on Dalaran (08/17/05). Accept quest and she stands there...tried everything - relogging, killing more Tauren, abandon and reaccept quest...nothing worked...

Maybe fixed on other servers, not Dalaran

This is for rogues... if you're having trouble killing him.
1) die by grundig right in front of tent
2) rez INSIDE THE TENT (next to Kaya)
3) go stealth, and garrote him or w.e
4) get him to 50% hp or lower, and talk to Kaya(if you didn't do Protect Kaya yet), and quickly accept her quest
5) she will start fighting, have fun :)

I killed Grundig Darkcloud at 72, 86. It is further down the path from the first Grimtotem encampment and to the right.

There is also an escort quest that is behind him ;)
For you to escort Kaya Flathoot to Camp Aparaje.
The road was clear when I did this but when we got out of there we were jumped by 4 mobs @ 77.90 Camp Aparaje.

I had issues keeping her alive when the ambush came. They automatically aggro onto her, she has little health and can die very quickly, as a warrior be sure to use Thunder Clap often to grab the aggro, for most others I recommend any AOE. Otherwise an easy escort

He spawns in the same house as where you found Kara. Dunno if you have to talk to her to get him to spawn but that's the house.

Grundig is in the doorway to big tent. Kaya is in the house. More Sorrcerers than Brutes.

I soloed this at lvl 24, no problems while all the mobs were lvl 15 and 16 except for Grundig himself that were 18. Shouldnt be a problem to solo at lvl 18 if u dont pull everyone on the same time.
Grundig is in the house at location 73,86, in there u can find Kay Flathof and start an easy escort quest if u want to.

The camp with the Darkcloud in it is quite a bit up the path... you go through an abandoned and trashed camp (ostensibly the quest givers) and a little further up the path to the left is a Troll witchdoctor area. Across the path to the right is the lead in to the area where Darkcloud is. There are mabey 6-7 brutes guarding the way in. Darkcloud was standing on the front step of the first tent when I did this quest.
