Description

I have felt a strangeness in the air... a feeling that simmers in my blood. I had my suspicions. I set off to find the source of my unease and discovered to the west, at Northfold Manor, the residual traces of demonic summoning. As I got close, my blood began to boil and the rage within me grew.

On the ground I spied an amulet of bloodstone, used to assist in demonic summoning. The one I found was depleted, however. I'll need another to examine, but I dare not return to the manor. Can you bring me some?

I killed 24 humanoids to get the 10 amulets.&nbsp Drop rate not as bad as indicated and certainly better than many other quests.&nbsp BE CAUTIOUS AS ALLIANCE lurks nearby.&nbsp Had to kill a 35 pally who was interfering w/ my questing.&nbsp

I found NO difference in drop rates with the stealthed and unstealthed humanoids.&nbsp

They drop from the humanoids there, yes. If you click on the link for the quest requirement, you can see which mobs drop them, and also get a map. Hope this helps :) <edit for clarity>

The earlier suggestion is a good one, use coral for cows as the border for you attacks to get the amulets. Anything else inside the buildings or outside the town is just a distraction to this specific quest. And killing the cows isnt worth it unless you want a better view of the area.

It's best to go in the middle field area where the cows are, and pick off mercenaries and pathstalkers from there. They have nearly a 100% drop rate, unlike the highwaymen, and you don't have to worry about running into stealthed mobs.

The coordinates are: 31,28

The levels there range from 31 - 34 (From what I killed)

I solod this with my level 33 Warlock + Succubus

Get your butt in the field with the cows and pull the mobs from the camp.&nbsp Did this on my 33 priest, and the field offers a nice kiting area should you so choose.&nbsp )&nbsp

the drops on this isnt bad at all i would say 4 outa every 5 drop it...only problem i had was there was about 5 other ppl doing the quest at the same time...

Not too easy, but not too hard. I just picked off the guys on the hills in the perimiter. Drop rate could be better, but worthwhile if you are grinding I suppose.

completed as lvl 35 lock, quest is still yellow for me. I got 2650xp and 100rep. Tor'Gan is right inside the walls of Hammerfall when entering the compound. Click on him again to receive next lvl of quest.

Very easy as a lvl 30 Hunter. However the drop was more like a 1:7 ratio. Had to clear out the whole camp twice to get them all, but it didn't take too long, maybe 20-30 minutes. I found the 32-33 dropped the amulets the quickest.

Location is Northwestern area of Arathi Highlands. Easy kills with 37 Warrior and 34 Shaman party. However it took us a good hour or so to get the 20 we needed. Drop rate not too good I think.

Also watch out for the level 45 human guards wandering the borders of this farm.

This one isn't so bad. The only pain is the amount of stealth mobs. You set up a pull then all of the sudden you get back stabbed. You back up and walk into another stealth mob. I used Track Hidden but it sucks right now. By the time my Tracking picks up on the hidden mob I can already see it. Whats the point in having this skill if you can't really use it properly?
