Vyletongue Corruption

Fill the Coated Cerulean Vial at the orange crystal pool in Maraudon.

Use the Filled Cerulean Vial on the Vylestem Vines to force the corrupted Noxxious Scion to emerge.

Heal 8 plants by killing these Noxxious Scion, then return to Vark Battlescar in Shadowprey Village.

Description

A satyr known as Vyletongue has corrupted the caverns of Maraudon, stunting the growth of many of the plants inside.

Take this vial, <name>. Fill it at the orange crystal pool found inside the caverns; the coating inside the vial will counter the toxins, turning it into a healing agent.

Find the Vylestem vines inside the orange caverns, and use the purified liquid on them. The corruption will be purged from the plant, but do know that Vyletongue will still control it. He may use it against you...

To be clear, the wines are located inside the instance in the orange part. Use the vial on the wines (it has about 10 yard range). Two or three Noxxious Scion spawns and you need to kill 8 of these in total to complete the quest. They are non elites so quite easy to take out, even possible to take one at a time if you are careful.

The orange crystal pool is outside of the orange instance. It's not the pool that the dryad is standing in, but right after that. On your minimap, it's the biggest dark-orange blob.

The vines are little red sprout (mushroom) things on the ground.&nbsp When u use the vial near them, they grow big.

Yeah I know they're in the orange side of maraudon, but can anyone pint-point exactly where? are they spread out within? Or in a certain place? (eg. like by the grubs)

once u use the vial on the flowers .. hurry and back up .. then the mobs wont aggro you (asuming youre 49+) and then u can pick them off one by one =)

Any of the orange-coloured pools on the orange side of Maraudon work to fill the vial.

If all the rewards are useless, the best vendor option is the ring.

Firstly, you can find the Vines inside of the Orange Caverns instance. You cannot interact with them, but you must use the Filled Cerulean Vial near them.

Watch out! When you do, an Elite spawn with three minions will burst out and confront you. It's more than two Level 50s could handle, so I would bring a larger group.

Soloed this as a 43 Feral Tauren Druid with armor with lots of +agi.

Plus each flower spawns two or three of the level 46 Scions..

I entered through in the Orange area, stealthed past the first two Lashers, where there's a flower. I'd use the liquid, and kill the two scions that came out. If there were three, I ran. :P

After I killed the two, I'd go out of the instance, reset it, and go back in. I did this in 6 short trips (two trips spawned 3 guys).

This is in the Mauradon instance in Desolace, roughly 30,62.

You need to go in the instance - big Steel double doors. Go to the right and follow the Orange crystals to the instance entrance.
