At a forge, smash the Prospector's Picks to create Broken Tools.

Description

There are dwarves preparing a dig site to the northwest. They think secrets lie in the earth, and that is true, but hollowing and defiling the land is no way to earn its teachings.

Collect the dwarven tools of digging, smash them, and return to me with the dwarves' broken tools.

You can smash the tools at a forge. You will find one in Thunder Bluff, but any forge -- even a forge at the dwarven camp -- will suffice.

You get the tools from the dwarves and break them at that same camp at 32, 48. The anvil is at the back left corner of the camp.

If you are having trouble getting to the forge at the dwarven camp, you can always go to Thunder Bluff and use the forge by the blacksmith to create the broken tools.

Leave Bloodhoof Village heading towards Thunder Bluff. You pass over the bridge.

As you travel down the path you will come to a path on your left take that path into the mountains and you will find the appraisers and the diggers.

You get the picks from them. But they are not broken take them to a forge and right click to break.

If you go to TB to use forge as soon as you get off elevators right near pond edge is the area you can break the picks at.

They didn't start dropping until I hit the dwarves at the top of the hill at 32,48, though.

Collect 5 pick from the dwarves then go to a forge. Place the picks in your Action bar and simply click on them. Result 5 broken tools

The Bael'dun Diggers and Bael'dun Appraisers have Prospector Picks at the Bael'dun Diggers Digsite (see screeshot for location).&nbsp A forge exists here at the southern end of the camp (31,49)

Forges and Anvils are used by Miners and Blacksmiths (and Engineers). Ask a guard for directions to the Blacksmith Trainer, and bam, a forge.

Head along the path north out of Bloodhoof and then head west. The camp is up a hill. The forge is at the back of the camp-- you can easily collect all 5 picks as you fight your way back there.

Did this quest at lvl 10, got the armor, 700 exp, and a standard increase to TB rep (quest yellow).

The forge is just up the hill a little bit...

Need at least 2 people to do though, since sometimes 2-3 dwarves team against you.

i smashed about 20 prospector`s picks at the forge in thunder bluff , and i only have 1 broken tools .

The Dwarven Camp is at map location 31,48

Or run north out of Bloodhoof on the road, you will find a path on the left, heading west into the mountains. Follow that and you will come to the Camp.

the prospector's picks are dropped bael'dun digger at the dael'dun digsite which is near thunder bluff instead of going down the road going towards bloodhoof village take a right. I was wandering around and was killing them for the hell of it and they dropped them and i saw that it was a quest item so i kept them. on the prospectors picks you see you can only use them on a forge. there is a forge at the back of the site where they're all working around and just right click the prospect pick and click the forge and you'll get the broken tools.

coordinates 31,49 for the forge
the bael'dun diggers and appraisers are around there
