I just handed in another libram here.
I noticed i got 220 (so 200 normally, since im human) with the Shen'dralar faction. Does anyone know if there is a reputation reward at a certain level?

On my server, this has gone from being nearly unattainable to being a complete joke.

Libram - 5-10g
Pristine Black Diamond - 1g, if that
2 Skin of Shadow - 1 Scholo run, hardly anyone rolls on these anymore
4 Large Brilliant Shards - 20-25g

This is now the easiest of all head/leg enchants to obtain on Azgalor.

Arcanums will no longer used in ZG Enchant as of 1.11.

Dire Maul Librams will however be used in the new NR20 enchant available from Argent Dawn.

I've got all the ingredients, but I cannot get the quest from this guy. Do I need a certain rep with the Shen'dralar to obtain it? If so, what gives it?

The "Elven Legends" quest giver for horde is "Sage Korolusk" in Feralas.

The purpose of the Focus Libram isn't for the +8 dmg enchant... b/c if you are going that far you might as well get the ZG enchant.&nbsp The freaking voracity libram only does +8 stat of your choice.... For a warlock 18 spell dmg and +10 stam, theres no contest.&nbsp I am looking foward to that enchant on my helm of the scarlet savant and damn... that much more damage to my shadowburn and conflagrate along with my shadowbolts...&nbsp Simply godly!

I have also heard something to the effect of a shoulder enchant at exalted with the Zandalar tribe that give massive spell damage... Thats just another reason to go do ZG along with this enchant.

Yeah, on my server Pristine black diamonds are down to 1g... Blizzard raised the droprates of them considerably.

Does this mean libram of focus? Should i get two arcanum of focuses before the patch so I can get 2 ZG enchants later?

I disagree. In MC, yes frost bolt is your main damage dealer.

In BWL alot of bosses need arcane missiles even though it does less damage (Lacking the + 100% crit damage talent of ice bolt) and significantly less damage per mana point.

The reduced threat you can apply to arcane missiles really helps with Broodlord Lashlayer and his agro cieling as well as with all the drakes because of their wing buffet.&nbsp

The uninterupable talent also helps with&nbsp Vaelastrasz the Corrupt, Firemaw and Flamegore all of whom will constantly interupt spell casting with fire damage (I have 180 FR with MotW and mage armour on which is pretty good for a mage and I still get interupted ALOT while casting on these bosses, though its possible that this problem will dissapear one I reach my target of ~250)

NOTE:

This build tries to be very mana efficient at the cost of some good arcane buffing talents as my gear doesn't have a great deal of +int on it.&nbsp I am looking into the benefits of arcane focus and better arcane subtlety as my mana pool / Fire resist increases.

Well, seems they are the requirements for the Zul'Gurub enchants... so they are not that useless now. :)

those new librams addet with dire maul seem to me like a joke if you compare them with the old ones.
u can easily get +200hp or 200mana, perhaps +16 of a stat with those old librams, you could solo farm those ingrediens needed and its 10 times better than this new ones. 2% dodge or attack speed cant ever make up 16 str/agi or 200 hitpoints

you'd prefer the minorless of a +8 over entire +150 mana? L O L

this libram is huge waste, +mana would be the much better choice. healers, they want you to have MORE mana, always more mana, they aren't going to care if you have another +16 on your heals, anyone would tell you to take the +mana instead. would also save 300g, black diamond is 10g on my server, pristine black diamond is 300g, very big jump there, not worth it.

if they switched priestine black diamond with normal one like the others, or buffed this up to about +20 or +30 instead of a +8, then it might be worth the costs.

how about someone here mention where the hell libram of focus drops?

The quest isnt Showing up for me... ive never done libram quests before but I had all the mats on me and nothing showed up when I talked to him

At some point +150 mana has diminishing returns and +8 heal/dam becomes attractive. I'm nearly at that point with my gear, with 8 epics:
1 prophecy glove, 2 seal of archmagus, 3 fire runed grimoire, 4 choker of enlightenment, 5 crimson shocker, 6 truefaith robes, 7 & 8 Darkmoon Cards from beast and portals decks.

Other gear is blue, and mana is always an issue, but +150 or +300 mana isn't going to make or break me when I have upwards of 7k or more mana in MC, and will have even more when I get more gear. Always it's a trade off, but I find that how FAST I heal can be as much of a factor as how long I can heal.. Consider that stacking a bunch of +heal or + dam/heal means my renew and or sw:p are going to tick for more, and spamming flash heal will do more.. etc.

I'll use the Starfire Tiara and slap a +20 FR on it for Ragnaros. And when I get Trans Halo or Proph Hat I'll use that on pretty much everything else.

Basically it's always a trade off, but I'm at the point when +dam/heal is more attractive than a little bit of incremental more mana. I know when I get more gear, I'll be even more solidly in this camp cos I'll have even more spir and int.

The price on Prisine Black Diamonds is dropping fast since last patch, down to 150g now from 300g and still falling. I still wouldnt pay for a diamond specifically for this chant, but I was lucky enough to have one drop on a baron run.
Same run netted 2 shards, and the other two followed next day. Bought the libram for 20g,
and I'm going for the skin now. Now my dilemma comes from which hat to enchant. I have Crimson Felt Hat with +8 stats and upto +30 dmg, or an Arcane Cover with more stats but no +dmg. Im actually considering trading off a bit of +dmg for the increased stats of arcane cover, yet still having +dmg on it. I cant wait till I get called a noob in org for wearing a green item over a blue.
Then again I may put it on the crimson hat, cos i like red, and I AM a fashion specced lock after all :)

update..
scrap all that, you need the completed libram for the zg chants, so this is getting saved for later.
Its amazing what you can find out with a bit of reading :)

actually 2% dodge is twice as good as +16 agi
but yea, the older ones are easier to get

This has turned out to be quite a time consumer. In other words, it took me a week. The skin of shadows has turned out to be the most difficult item, as the libram dropped on my first DM West run. Good luck all who go for this, i already have my doll for my ZG enchant.. comon primal hakkari girdle!

Pristine Black Diamond is worth 10g now on my server

you need to do the quest "Elven Legends" before you can get this libram quest. you get the quest from feathermoon, and you have to go to the library and examine the skeleton on the ground near lorekeeper lydros. once you complete this quest you can do this quest, as well as the libram of protection and libram of rapidity quests.

There is a time fram that you can turn in but i don't know from when till what.

by the time youll probably be able to do this, you gotta be close to doing MC, and the one thing you need in there is fire resist, so id advise going for that Libram of resilience

As of today, April 09 2007, the quest still requires the same amount of materials. However, upon completing the quest only the skin of shadows are consumed.

I have the Libram of focus and all the reagents for the quest but i can't get the quest from Lorekeeper. I read above i have to do the "Elven Legends" quest first, if so could someone plz tell me where to get this quest? Thanks.

Regarding the mats consisting of a Pristine Black Diamond, it's extremely cheap on the horde side, 5g each, so you're lookin at 25g for an enchant to put on your Tier1/2 set pieces, not bad imo.

Not sure why people are quoting pristine diamong prices.&nbsp Libram of Focus goes for 250-300g on AH and the skin of shadow is a (nearly) full run of scholo.&nbsp Most people running it are only going for the skin, meaning an average of 10 (2 skins @ 20%/run) runs per enchant!

can anyone confirm that the " DM library book quests will no longer be repeatable" refers to the quests that give the FR trinkets and is not refering to the libram quests?
