The buff is level based. If your 63+ you won't get it.

The ring's alright but https://classicdb.ch/item=36140 Ring of Entropy is slightly better because of its extra int and spirt. They make a nice mage / warlock combination but for healers there are much better rings.

Only the initial turn-in will give you a choice of one of the three quest rewards. Subsequent turn-in's of the Head of Onyxia will only trigger the buff of the Rallying Call of the Dragonslayer... so chose wisely!

sry to those that have read this on the pre-quest comments but really need to know for definite.

Can you or can you not hand in the head multiple times (atleast more than once) and get another reward?

As someone has noted these items aren't Unique, but as to whether that is any indication if its poss to repeat the quest for another reward I am unsure.

I have submitted a GM ticket about this but I fear all questions to them are rhetorical! will update if get a proper reply from them.

I've heard there is a 1hour buff, thats good for Rag.&nbsp You and your group get when one of you completes this quest.&nbsp Anyone know anything about it?

the onyxia head is used for a quest, part of the quest reward is the TWO hour buff, not one.&nbsp can anyone else link the quest reward? i got it on my warrior, but i forgot what the caster one is.

The other reward for casters is called:
Dragonslayer Signet

is really better than Ring of Entropy, since stats are so tiny different, and you get the extra fr. When u actually need fr, it would be sad to change your Ring of Entropy out with some lame +20 only fr ring, sintead of just keeping your DS signet on :>

Besides, what other revard of the 3 would u suggest for any caster? =)

Dragonslayer's Signet will be my choice seeing as pally's are now getting +spell dmg and spell crit. It's a nice reward on-top of what else you may have gotten off Onyxia!

I agree it is the best option for Paladins unless you are going 100% damage or something and want the crit and agility from the necklace.

Take into mind that Pally's will also be needed Tanks in Burning Crusade. With the new "taunt" like Righteous Defense ability, with Righteous fury, its not longer unrealistic for a Paladin to do some off tanking. Just put on some +Defense Rating Gear like Deathbone Guardian https://classicdb.ch/?itemset=124 and maybe the Ony trinket, go Protection spec, and step up to the plate.
