When you have the quest ... :

1: go out of Dire Maul east

2: go inside Dire Maul north&nbsp ( you can easyly solo it )

3: Go down when you come inside DM North

4: Skip the guards and enter the BIG door to the LEFT !

5: follow the road inside to a libram where you complete the quest ... !

( you need the key for this and if you dont have get the key in DM east or take a friend with you but its solo able ! )

All you have to do is to enter in the library, that is somewhere in Dire Maul, and then talk to Lorekeeper Mykos.
what u get is quite amazing: a Trinket with +10 fireresistance, +100 armaor when equipped and +22 encreased healing when equipped.

Im lvl 55 and i got it, not difficult to get if u know the intance and have the key

When you have the quest ... :

1: go out of Dire Maul east

You need the cresent key for this and if you dont have get the key in DM east or take a friend with you but its solo able ! You will need the key to go inside DM North and to enter the library. This can be solo'd if done correctly. Wait for the ogre guard to walk to the right of the entrance. On the stairs going down jump onto the railing but not too close to the grassy area otherwise you attrack an angry mob you cannot solo. Once on the railing jump to the ledge to the North along the wall. Stay away from the dog patrol and hug the wall to the doors to the library. Then you are in. Do your business and hearth out. The Dire Maul key is a drop from inside of Dire Maul East. The East entrance is the only entrance you do not need a key for. This key will open up Dire Maul West and North. The library is north.

You will need the key to go inside DM North and to enter the library. This can be solo'd if done correctly. Wait for the ogre guard to walk to the right of the entrance. He's right i've seen the book and its required lvl 54 so I don't know what your talking about the whole lvl 60 required thing

I don't know how some of you thought you have to be lvl 60 to start this quest. It says the item lvl is 60, and required lvl 54. I started this quest at lvl 54, when i bought this from a guildy. You don't need to be 60, so would those of you who think you need to be....STOP SAYING IT!

Definaltly a must for a raiding Paladin. Pick up the book from the AH or from DM as a drop if your lucky. Can be solo'd by heading into DM north. Wait for Ogre to walk away from ramp down into the courtyard then head down and jump up onto the left ledge of the ramp. Hug the left wall and go down second ramp to locked door. Must have the DM key obtained from DM east or a truesilver skeleton key should do the trick, (only tried this on outside door). Once thru door just head down the unoccupied cooridor to the Library and turn in to Lorekeeper Mykos, and you will be rewarded with a trinket providing +10 Fire resist and Equip bonus' of +150 armor and +22 healing!

One thing to note is that for a lvl 60 picking up the quest from Feathermoon Hold to locate the missing NPC is a good quest to get before heading into DM. The body you need to use to complete quest is in library and rewards 6+ gold. Sorry but I can't remember the exact quest name but it is given from the NPC that wanders behind the inn at Feathermoon.
