Solo'd this quest as a 58 priest, granted I did have the Crescent Key. Simply run in at the northern entrance and wait for the guard to run to patrol to the right (He may stand still for a while, but it's safer to wait him out.) As soon as you think you're out of aggro range, go left to see a group of 3 ogres. Mind sooth the one closest to you and then run down the stairs to the right. Jump over the banister of the steps to the left and huge the wall around the other group. Mind soothe the one closest to the door, run down, and voila, you've got yourself a nifty trinket in about 6 minutes flat. :)

You turn it to the Athenaeum inside Dire Maul. This is in the west instance (instance with Immol'thar). Sepulcher has nothing to do with this quest.

Reward is Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas, a trinket that give +10 Fire resist, increases effects of heal spells by up to 30 and regens 4 mana every 5 seconds.

This is the reward from the quest.

Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas

Nice Trinket.

Priest Only.
Increase Mana 4 every 5 seconds.
Increase Healing effects by up to 33.
+10 Fire Resistance.

Not to shabby.

To complete this quest, follow a few simple steps:
1. Get the book, trigger the quest.
2. Find the Library in Dire Maul, and use the Crescent key to open the door.
3. Inside there's a bunch of friendly NPCs, and you can find the quest target on the minimap
4. Turn in the book to him, and you'll recieve an awesome trinket and 7000 experience.

I did the same thing, waited for pat to move, then ran down the ramp a ways, mind soothed the closest ogre and jumped over the left side and to the library tunnel door, again using the key.

If you need the key, it drops from Pusilin in the EAST instance.&nbsp You could easily 4 man EAST with 56+ party.&nbsp Just bring a mage to AOE the lil plants and Pusilins adds.

Trinket : 10 fire resistance 33 healing and 4mp5 I beleive. For a lvl 60 you also receive about 4g.

The trinket alone is more than worth it. You may get to live through a Ragnaros fight ^.^

There's a prereq before you can turn in the class specific books. It's Elven Legends from Feathermoon Stronghold:
(Quest #7482)]

Im a 54 Shadow Priest. I don't have any DM keys. I have the Holy Bologna book already (passed down from my 60 Hunter main) but I'm not too familiar with DM. Obviously it depends on player skill to some point, but would it be possible to solo (sneak) to that library without key to get the trinket reward, or is that the only way in?

If not, I guess I'd just have to find a group...

Thanks ahead of time for comments/opinions.

I just realized what a sad joke this is....it is by a "Shadow Priest" and the trinket you get has only +healing. Another cruel trick blizzard plays on the non-conventionel talent builds.:(

No its not in the sepulcher nor is it in SM.
Its in Dire Maul North.
When you enter you see some sort of arena with lots of ogres in it and lots of dogs.
Becarefull if you try to stealth trough.. they can smell you (which i learned xD)

Get down the "arena" and go left. There is a door. Pass that and you come down to a neutral area, library.
Find the quest guy with a golden "?" over his head and simply hand in the quest.

Cant say much about the trinket as i play a rogue.
Accidently went here due to a priest friend :P

Book drops randomly but check AH first some books drops more often than others. On my server they go for 40-200g after which class it is.. It might pay of just buying it if its low instead of doing DM over and over.

You can sneak through this pretty easily. Enter DM north. On each side there are a group of ogres and a ogre pat that walks through. Wait for the pat to be on the right side and run straight. There will be a ramp down to a grassy area with a campfire surrounded by ogres. Be careful here as there is a pat of hyenas walking around. Jump on the left edge of the ramp and drop down onto the "ledge" down by the grassy area. Follow the "ledge" along the wall and you'll reach the side of the ramp that leads down into library.

This is a bit tricky. You can try to jump to get onto the side of the ramp, then run down. If you miss the jump, run down the wall and get in range of the ogres to Mind Soothe them. Once mind soothed, run along the edge and down the ramp. Then you just have to follow the trail down into library.

I did this at lvl 60, so if you're lower lvl becareful of the aggro range.

Good luck!
