I did this q as 38 lock, and it wasent that hard. Though I would recommend to bring a friend or be some lvls higher if your class is known not to be a good soloclass. It's a lot of people in Badlans at day time, so just use the /1 and you might get some help, or do a /followme on a friendly foe of the other faction.

He resisted a lot, but with voidwalker, banish and fear, I got 1k hp left after battle but oom though :)

The trinket is nice and can do great work for you in all lvls, I love to use it in WSG )

If you wounder how this start, just go to the camp where this q starts and do everything they ask you to do :) Easy as that!

Did you find this info usefull in any way? Then please vote it, so it's easier for others to read this.

The elemental he summons is a level 45 earth elemental. He is immune to nature damage from what I can tell. It's worth doing this entire quest line to get the stopwatch trinket. It has helped me catch more than one ship/zepplin as they pull away.

It's for intercepting people. Carrot on a stick is for long distance travelling. 40% run buff for 10 seconds is for running people down. This is great for paladins.
If you're just using it every 30 minutes to get from point A to to B faster you're far too impatient.

there's a circle of stones about 20 feet south of the guy you get the quest from, after i accepted the quest, the level 45 elemental noted in the quest shows up, you just kill him and he drops it.

The reason the trinket is best for a paladin, I think what he is trying to say, is that SINCE the paladin gets a +8% run speed, it frees up a slot in the trinket slots, since carrot on a stick is at this point essentially worthless.&nbsp The 8% run speed doesn't stack with mount speed increase enchants or the carrot on a stick, so that free trinket slot allows us to run this nifty little duder.

To get the Nifty Stopwatch u have to do all his quests about getting rock from the elementals. Then do the Frost oil and the Gyrochronatom (u can buy it very cheap on AH, and engineers make it)After u get all he gives u a STUPID quest... talk to the gnome behind him and then go back to him. After this he will summon an elemental kill him loot him and then get the Nifty Stopwatch!.... Then the gnome behind him will have some more quest but i dont know the reward of them.

The elemental that spawns is a level 45 earth elemental and really nothing difficult if you've gotten this far with the quest. He is aggro, but will sit there until you get close enough or you attack.

To get this quest you need to do the three elemental rock quests.&nbsp Lesser, Normal, and Greater.&nbsp They are all located in clusters.&nbsp Lesser are below the Normal in the NW corner of the Badlands.&nbsp In the SW corner you will find the Greater Elementals.&nbsp Kill a bunch and get the bracers.&nbsp Then you can go back and pick up this quest (the first stage of it, that is).

note:&nbsp I didn't do the frost oil quest yet...so, it isn't required to do that quest first...

happy slaying

I soloed this quest at L39 (undead mage), the elemental was summoned at the end and was 6 levels higher than me. I thought I was screwed but suprisingly almost none of my spells were resisted and I got lots of crits. I am arcane spec so I could kite with frost bolt, frost nova, run, fireball, PoM-frost bolt, run, CoC, run, etc. Didn't use a potion, fire blast was resisted a lot though. Great trinket for BG L31-40 :)

I soloed as a 40 Rogue, just used one of the Lesser Stoneshield potions that I got in the earlier quest. Got me to like 200 life and I had to use evasion but I killed him. Not really all that hard.

Not hard as a lvl 41 Rogue. If you intend to start with a skill that requires stealth, go in stealth only after accepting the quest if you are stealthing before the Gnome goes to summon the elemental your stealth will be broken.
Opened with Cheap Shot and popped Evasion soon after, got in a full-duration Kidney Shot and he was dead in no time. To be honest I had more trouble with the level 44 rock elementals that lead to this part of the quest.
Poor Servo, though! The Guardian killed him. :x

The stopwatch is an extremely useful item for folks w/o any run speed.

I use it constantly at lvl 55. Huge cooldown, but great for catching boat, running away from aggro, chasing down horde etc.

Solo'd a level Druid 43 with no problem. Blast with Starfire to pull, cast regrowth, then blasted with moonfire until mana was down to 25%. Took bear form and finished it off. Only took about 10% damage overall.

I completed this easily as a 43 Druid. Got 4850 experience from it as well.

Actually, I completed it easily after I started actually FIGHTING the mob. As soon as I accepted the quest, I alt+tabbed out of WoW and came here to look up where exactly he spawned, only to tab back in and find that he spawns as soon as you accept the quest.
