Quell the Silverwing Usurpers

Enter Warsong Gulch and defeat the Alliance, gain a Warsong Mark of Honor, and bring it to Captain Shatterskull at the Mor'shan Base Camp.
Warsong Mark of Honor

Description

The wilds of the Ashenvale forest will succumb to the might of the Horde, <race>. Nothing the Silverwing say or do can stop our sovereign imperative. Kalimdor belongs to the Horde. How dare they attempt to prevent us from harvesting what is rightfully ours!

Let the pride swell in your chest as you cut down their weak attempts at slowing our progress. Destroy the Silverwing Sentinels, and earn a Warsong mark of honor. Return to me with such a mark, <name>, and you will be rewarded.

These WSG quests don't exist anymore since they made the marks where you can use for the PVP rewards but the Arathi Basin ones still work

lol the game description of this quest is kinda ironic because the horde are claiming that kalimdor is rightfully theirs when the elves were around for thousands of years before them :P

Is it even possible to get this quest anymore? I'm lvl 24 and I've been to Captain Shatterskull numerous times and have not been able to get the quest.

Yes and no.

This is a really fun place to PVP... It's even relatively fair.

The BG's are divided into level groups.
Dunno if theres a 1-10 or 11-20 instnce or not.

It's worth good honor and it just gets better as you go up. The new patch notes (leaked so accuracy may be off) indicate that there will be new rewards you can buy once your faction is good enough but currently the rewards are not worth gaining the faction.

This is a relatively simple, capture the flag event. You need to capture the enemy flag 3 times to win but you cannot capture it while the enemy holds your flag. The small map with plenty of terrain and such is great for learning too.

I can't wait till the Alterac BG finally starts goin on my server.

Oh, and the instance is located near the Barrens/Ashenvale border at the outpost. You can go jump in the queue then quest or something untill it's time to enter. You will automaticly be transported into BG from wherever you're currently located.

Only problem is that these matches can go on for way longer than the reputation you get from one game is worth. Quite common to have both sides in possession of the opposing sides flag, and then a long, drawn out game of hide and go seek commences. 3 hours later you'll be wishing you quit and did 5 games in the time it took you to get that one flag capture.

uuuuhh. read the troll compendium (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/story/troll/). the trolls have the oldest recorded history in kalimdor. the elves are rumored to have decended from trolls who were genetically altered by living in close proximity to the well of eternity. the trolls were masters of the planet until the upstart elves started messing with magic they didn't understand, and nearly destroyed the world - splitting kalimdor into 2 seperate continents.
