1-st and very easy quest in Northshire (humans start location).
need to talk Marshal McBride. He locate inside abbey.

This will likely be the very first quest you get as a human.

1. Speak to [Green]Deputy Willem[/Green] in [Red]Elwynn Forest[/Red] ([Yellow]Coordinates: 48, 43 Elwynn Forest[/Yellow]) He will likely be right infront of you if you just started out.

2. Head west until you hit the brick path. Turn towards the building.

3. Enter the [Red]Northshire Abby[/Red]. Head striaght down the hall way until you reach [Green]Marshal McBride[/Green] ([Yellow]Coordinates: 49, 42 Elwynn Forest[/Yellow]). He should have a gold question mark over his head. There should also be a gold dot on your map idicating his location.

4. Talk to [Green]Marshal McBride[/Green], and complete the quest.

[Blue]Experience gained: 40.
Reputation gained: 55 for Stormwind.[/Blue]

5. Once you have completed this quest, it will automatically display another quest: [Orange]Kobold Camp Cleanup[/Orange]

Note: This is an easy quest, but don't skip it! It will give you two bars full of experiance. Contiune the chain and you will get to atleast 5. Also, remember to save EVERYTHING. Sell everything to a merchant, and don't buy anything yet.

did something go wrong when importing the data into wowhead? Was the quest actually not in DB on the demo?

Are they actually reconstructing it like private server?

This entire chain main be very unrewarding, but if you're ever going for reputation, it's very easy reputation, 100 per part where you actually have to do something.

My advise: Do it for the reputation (The rewards suck)

This is the first quest, humans will encounter in their starting zone Northshire Valley. The objective of the quest is simple, after getting the quest from Deputy Willem (loc. 48.2/42.9) you must go and report to Marshal McBride (loc. 48.9/41.6) who is located in the Northshire Abbey (the churchlike building) behind Deputy Willem.

After turning in this quest the following three quests become available in Northshire Valley:

• Kobold Camp Cleanup - the followup
• Eagan Peltskinner
• Wolves Across the Border; this is the followup of the above if you get it.

"Ah, good. Another volunteer. We're getting a lot of you these days.

"I hope it's enough.

"The human lands are threatened from without, and so many of our forces have been marshaled abroad. This, in turn, leaves room for corrupt and lawless groups to thrive within our borders.

"It is a many-fronted battle we wage, <name>. Gird yourself for a long campaign."

You can get this quest from Deputy Willem, and it was the first quest i ever did :). Upload the quest in you quest log, and talk to the Marshal McBride inside the Abbey. It gives reputation and experience. So, why not passing? =)
At level 1 ofcourse :).

I followed Marshall McBride's quests through clearing out the Kobold Laborers on a recently created alt. Yes the experience and reputation were nice, but the real prize is that the laborers drop small brown bags - which can be sold or, more importantly at first, used. In about 25 minutes I collected 4 of them. Not a bad reason to kill them even without the quests at low level.

I went back when I needed silver for my new class skills and picked up 2 more fairly quickly. (A Worker also dropped one, but it seems the drop rate is much lower)

ANyway, if this is totally common knowledge please don't flame me - my highest character is level 26 NE Druid. I didn't find anything near as valuable in my questing in the starting area at Shadowglenn.
