Dark Vessels

Primal Torntusk at Revantusk Village in the Hinterlands wants you to recover 10 Vessels of Tainted Blood from Jintha'alor. Return to Primal Torntusk when this task is complete.

Description

The Vilebranch fight with supernatural ferocity. This is due to the foul magical weavings of the Vile Priestess Hexx.

Throughout Jintha'alor you will find dark vessels of tainted blood. The vessels radiate the foul magic of the faceless blood God, empowering the Vilebranch and also driving them to madness.

Steal those vessels and return them to me so that I may remove the taint and ultimately loosen the grip of the blood God.

Vessels can be found everywhere.

If you actually use thottbot properly, you will see they are objects lying around.

Took me about half hour to pick them all up, they look like bubbling cauldrons, mini ones.

Actually they (the Dark Vessels) are located at the ends of each level of the temple. I found that a good tactic (for those that are very patient) is to run along the wall and get a little camp setup on the wall. The nice thing there is that if U R on a PvP server as I am, then you have the ability to keep access to yer back limited and can see someone coming if they walk up. The bad thing is that the respawn is very slow. I camped near the emerald oozes, got some munchies and settled back to a movie on my little TV at the desk. Not everyone is as "dynamic" as I am so that may drive some of u nuts. But - safe and silent is the thing on PvP and soloin elites is a bad place to get ganked. I hope to get the respawn time soon.

To be a bit more precise, look all around the upper levels of Jintha'alor. The screenshot provided will show you exactly what you are looking for. Don't worry if you have a large group and all have the quest either. There are more than enough "Vessels of Tainted Blood" to go around.

The mobs in Jintha'Alor are no longer elite as of patch 2.3, so this quest can be solo-able. The quest also gives 8500 XP if you complete it.

Did it last night...but look for the the little cauldrons that are protected by a single troll (usually a witch doctor)...improve sap them...loot.... and stealth away quickly...no prob...tip* there is one cauldron i found unprotected...about the 3rd or 4th level up...go by, no into, the stonewall structures that "house" small groups...along the wall at almost the furthest by the back wall there's one that only a single patrol troll goes by...just stealth and wait until he clears...GL

true, you'll have to run around a few times if you're trying to get 10 of these for a full group.

However, as a stealther anyone shouldn't have any problems.&nbsp Did this quest in 10 minutes..lvl 52 rogue.

They are little black cauldrons all around Jintha'Alor

I would advise just doing all the group quests for Jintha'Alor at once with a 5 man group. Much easier

I did this as a 49 rogue solo. Just make sure you have a good amount of flashpowder with you and blindpowder. But I would look for pot with one or two guards and sap one, blind/gouge the other and open it and restealth. Oh and a important tip is that if you have improved gouge you can open the pot before your gouge is done if your quick. Ya it wasnt hard I died a couple times but it can be done.
