the weightstone is mostly found when mining on ores. but i always sell my ingredients when i have em ( wool cloth, coarsestone )

You need to be a blacksmith to make coarse weightstones, they are low lvl items but usally go up in price when the dark moon fairy comes in to town so get them when the dark moon fairy is not in town. I also think that after you turn in a certian amount of things to the dark moon fairy the lower lvl items can no longer be handed in for a reward.(no proof so far dont go there its a waist of time for me)

For people who are farming tickets for the faire this is a commonly skipped quest due to the fact it only awards one ticket.
