As with most effects, its a procs-per-minute kind of thing. 1-4 times per 60 non elite for me.

What are you talking about, this item is great!
...If you're level 20. Sadly, at leve, 60 it's not even enough to repair a single hit. Why do trinkets suck so hard? They should be worth spending the time to get them.

Ok, so here's the scoop. I got this trinket yesterday on my Shaman. My shaman has about + 113 to healing gear on him when I go soloing. I also have crusader enchant on my 2h mace that I use. I find that this procs slightly more then my crusader procs and heals more then the crusader proc as well. With my + to healing gear on, I have had this thing heal me constatly in the upper 200's and on crits it has healed me in the low to mid 400's. I got a pic here for some proof.

CLEARLY a druid trinket...It doesnt say when melee attacking...so the way MOST druids fight, moonfire spam would be good.

Silence is the way of the rogue...

Im close to having this, so gonna try it out soon.

But think about it. If it procs 1 time in a fight, it equals +12-18 sta. If it procs twice in a fight, it has given you 24-36 extra sta... Its gonna depend a lot on the proc rate... but since its on all attacks, id guess its 1-2%. Still might be worth it.

As some people are wondering:
The procrate on this is fairly close to the crusader enchant, true, it's 8%. This means on 100 hits you will recover an average of 8x150 = 1200 hitpoints. this may not seem a lot, but with lifedrain and/or crusader enchants on your weapon a furor dualwield warrior and of course rogues can go on farming for what seems like eternity without even throwing in a heal potion.
It is nice, but nothing real if it comes to PvP.

PS: And it only works in close combat, so it's a no for ranged and spellcasting - you also will get that info from the old prof who is handing out the cards. Anyone who got the item without reading: Reading helps a lot, try to understand the ABC prior to accusing people of misinformation.

It would be soooo cool to have 2x of these AND lifestealing on both weapons (daggers) for a rogue. You could just keep the opponent stunlocked and if he gets the chance to do dmg on you, you'll get the hp back very quickly. Also rogues will no longer need any healing in long instances :P

The Darkmoon faire doesnt come to Goldshire until 7th of August, tho it is in Mulgore as we speak, so is there anyway to deliver a deck in Mulgore, as an Alliance character? ^^

Just got this trinket today on my shaman. The procrate seems to about even with crusader, and it heals me for about 400 HP every proc, critting for about 550-600 I'm satisfied with this trinket, it's pretty much what I expected.

This is a great trinket, but for the price(which was around 450g) It's debatable whether its really worth it. Procs a couple times a battle for rogues but because of the lack of any healing gear It heals what it should..which isnt extremely good. Of course, right now I'm farming on level 54-56 casters so ill repost when i fight something worthwhile.

Okay listen up,
it clearly states
Darkmoon Card: Heroism
Binds when picked up
Unique
Trinket Miscellaneous
Requires Level 60
Equip: Sometimes heals bearer of 120 to 180 damage when damaging an enemy in melee.
Dots = NOT MELEE,
Ranged = NOT MELEE,
Rogues + Wars + Palies = MELEE! [and feral druids] (maybe shammies but i play alliance)
Rogues
The very fact that they have evaision makes this trinket worth it...
ive seen some good 60's with 40+ evaision. so first of all they aint getting hit often, they can stunlock you for a while and get free hits off, they have instant hit abilities and etcs... crusader//lifestealing + Trinket = Rape?
Warriors
For prot wars this is useless, for arms its debatable but not worth my time. For fury Warriors... well h4x... With high agi, and everytime they whitedmg crit they gain 30% attack speed for 3 hits... (trolls can beserk too) bloodthirst... etc... Warriors with this trinket can be gaining upwards to 500 life per minute.
Slap crusader or lifestealing on this and well... you got a monster.
i made a 29 twink warrior who used dual crusader daggers 1.8 every 30 seconds or so i get at least 1 proc, every 2 minutes id get at least one double proc, so thats like 500 life right there. but thats in 2 minutes, that is quite some time remember that when you have 3-4 mobs beating down on you. if i had this trinket well i would be the shiznit to say the least.
Druids
Well if your a feral druid, its not hard to slap on some +healing and do like what im about to mention for palies..... (see palies)
Paladins
First of all i hate paladins.. but... With all thier +healing... ive seen the 235 healing dmg 2h mace, throw on +55 healing on that, 30 healing to bracer, 20 to gloves that +350 healing right there with 3 chants and a weapon, not taking in consideration the rest of thier gear. so now, a well decked palie has a goot +600~1000 healing, add this to your little 120-180 and thats 720~1180 healing NON-CRIT, that my friends is 1/4th of your life.

Point proven, not a useless trinket, you just need to know how to "use" it.
either you spam proc chances with speed, or you use a slow 2h and stack healing.
for ALL CASTERS//HUNTERS IT IS USELESS!

Enough bable, FFS learn to read, and learn to use your brains a little.

Both Hunters and Rogues DW, and the OH weap misses a lot. However, imagine if it worked with spells like Pigre said, then it would also be a great mage trinket. 30 targets while attacking a Graveyard in AV with Blizzard as it slows and overall hits them even more......That's a lot of healing. I have a 10/32/9 warrior (being MT in MC ive got the usuals ) parry, anticipation ect)

With eskanders roght and left, both with life steal enchants, grinding is a complete dream, often you can come out of a battle with more HP than when u went in (not elites obviously)

In PvP, I'm weaker than what I was with the AR, MS spec, but with this trinket and the elementals trinket i think it could be a winner.

All I hope is that they are 2% or more proc rate :D 5% would be a dream

Hi, sry for my stupid questions, but I know nothing regarding the Darkmoon Faire:

1) does anyone know when the Darkmoon Faire will take place in TB?

2) And is in the Darkmoon Faire of TB (I'm a Tauren) where I can by the last card to complete the Trinket?

on how this works and how often you get that effect, say per minute, this may well be worth it for about any class.

Eg. for my Warlock, Siphon Life and the rest of the dots, then wanding away for some procs of this... or draining Life if you don't have to actually hit the enemy using melee or ranged attacks.

Of course, classes with rather low hitpoints will get more benefit of that.

Also, don't forget this is a trinket, not a weapon enchant so you can't directly compare these. Would about make as much sense as comparing a chest piece with a bracer.

If the proc is with an "attack" surely is also for Warlock... with all the dots working, and with the possibility to put dots on more people or mobs, the chance of proc i greatly increased, since every second i have more then 2 hits on the enemy.

So in a pvp raid contest, with more then 6-7 dots spammed all around, icant imagine how many healing i receive from this card.

Since is not clear how it works we can only imagine, btw if it really works with every kind of attack, surely i'd work to get it.

You guys are just fools if you write off shamans. Do you realize how much mail +healing gear there is in the game? And that it augments *any* heal, including crusader, including this? I run around with 4k hp, 6.1k mana, and my crusader heals me for about 350, and crits for about 500. With a 1 hand, it procs like all hell. Crusader also heals LESS than this does, meaning i'd probably get healed for 400 a proc when it goes of, because I have items like cauterizing band, and talents like purification. Couple that with my mail, malistar's defender, and you see where this is going.

Best for a shaman, period. BTW I already have the entire deck, I'll get back to y'all on how often it procs and how hard it owns.

Guess it's both good for rogues and hunters. One side a rogue gains a greater benefit from this item because of DW, but a hunter will be able to formally get a Crusader on his/her bow. That's great I think. However, the reward from the Elements Deck seems to be better at first sight.

It seems that these days Blizzard is trying to build on high speed weapons. Have a look at the Stormshroud Set's new bonus, plus add this to the formula. Each has an "Chance On Attack" proc...

it is probably strictly time based chance just for being engaged in combat. i doubt it has anything to do with frequency of attacks since it doesnt say "on attack" similar to procs say "on hit" this game does several things like this such as armor damage is based on being in combat, not based on being hit. As a mage i have taken armor damage while a mob was frost novaed away from me.

Shammies could benefit a little with some dmg totems and their one dot spell. But not enough to make it worth anything i think!
