Bring the Burning Blade Medallion to Zureetha Fargaze, outside The Den.

	Burning Blade Medallion

Description

Through my divinations, I see that an item of power hides deep within the Burning Blade Coven, guarded by beasts and black magic.

It is called the Burning Blade Medallion, and your next task is to find it and remove it from the coven.

But be wary, for the medallion may be possessed by an agent of the Burning Blade, and if so then the agent's power would be greater than the familiars you have already encountered.

Go, <name>. You will find the coven in a cave, to the north and west.

Coming from The Den go north west & you come to the Burning Blade Coven. You will have to kill level 3 & 4 Vile Familiars(humanoid) & Felstalkers(demon). Go to the right when you first enter. Cross over the little river. Go straight a short bit then&nbsp go to the right again. Follow that all the way out & you will see Yarrog Baneshadow (level 5 humanoid) at the end.

Rewards: minor healing potion level 1 & you also have a choice of Dust-covered Leggings Leather 26 Armor, Ripped Pants Cloth 13 Armor, Jagged Chain Vest Mail 67 Armor & you can only pick one of them.

The Burning Blade Medallion is in the Burning Blade Coven to the north east. When you enter the cave go to the right, try to stay to your right all the way around, you will cross over a little river and eventually run into Yarrog Baneshadow. He drops the Burning Blade Medallion.

You get the Medallion from Yarrog Baneshadow, a LVL 5 "boss" in the north west corner of the caves.

Go in the cave (45 56) and stay right. Some Felstalkers and Vile Familiars will attack you but they are easy if you take them on one at a time. Keep sticking to the right wall and you will find the boss. If you need help with this message me at Timmy/Horde/Outland

you cant fight him from the lower lvl you have to get at the same lvl as him, i tried that my very first time and no matter what he will always regenerate and you cant kill him

He's not hard to find just sticking to the right, I found him by accident the first time. Not realizing I needed him for a quest, I just started attacking, but I couldn't do any damage...nothing at all!
Another Warlock and a Priest came up and tried attacking him as well to no avail.
I went ahead and completed the pick quest, then went back, and killed him, he didn't even put up a fight!
We had a new patch yesterday, I wonder if it's a glitch?

once you get in the cave, just follow the path on the right until you get to him. don't worry about the other paths unless you just want to kill crap

It's actually North and East. It's the cave that shows on your map at the far North of the valley.

The Medallion is on a named Orc-type MOB in the cave. Kill him to get it.

The mob that drops the Burning Blade Medallion is a level 5 humanoid named Yarrog Baneshadow.

At the cave entrance, hug the right wall until you come to a ledge overlooking the large pool below. He spawns in the center of the overlook. One Vile Familiar spawns near him, another just before you enter the area. A Felstalker spawns about 5 steps before the Familiar.

Approx 1 minute respawn.

i also can't seem to scale the ledge where the guy is. the map makes it seem like there's another way around, but it looks like a dead end when you go that way. how do you get up to the guy?

There is a decoy ledge you will come to first, but it doesn't over look the pool. Keep to the right and you'll find him. With Titan Bar loc is 42/52. Too easy.

it just takes some time but you can get up to him. you jump from the rock on to the ledge. When you get on the rock you will aggro him and he will start casting. try jumping up if you dont make it he will stop casting cause youll be out of sight.:)

Assuming that you have solved the problem, I will post for anyone else who might have trouble.

One cave exists in the Valley. It is located in the northern end of the valley where the sorpids and vile familiars are.

The "north and west" directions seem to be deliberately misleading. Head east until you can turn for a straight shot north then just go north.

Hes at the very back, once you enter the cave go right and follow it all the way and youll eventually find him. Medallion drops after you kill him.

The mob who drops the medallion is all the way at the back of the cave on a ledge overlooking the big pool. He's the only Orc in the cave. You can find him at 42,52.
