Description

Many of the hides we use come from Durotar tigers, <name>. Blankets, armor, tents: there are a great many reasons we hunt the beasts, and many reasons we let them thrive at the same time.

The time has come for us to cull the flock, so to speak. Our numbers grow, and our needs are beginning to overwhelm our stocks. I need more hides if I'm to prepare suitable goods for our people.

Bring me 4 Durotar tiger furs, and I shall reward you. You can find them on the islands south of here.

(60,80) is where I also found some Durotar Tigers. Drop rate isn't 100%.

drop rate not bad since the upgrade. Co-ords for those who use them - 60,90 has the greatest amount of tigers. Can also do part of quest "A Solvent Spirit" there as well.

These tigers will be found south of Sen'jin Village, the drop rate is HORRIBLE, but be patient, it will get you good exp. They are located on ever island south of Sen'jin village.

The Durotar Tigers are around the edges of all the islands to the south east of Sen'jin Village.

Location: Just go to Echo Isles the little tiny islands southeast of sen'jin village. They can be found in any of those islands.

Mobs: There level 7-8 mobs they look like orange tigers with black stripes. These guys cant follow you into the water so if you get jumped and your dying just jump into the water and your safe

The droprate is pretty bad. I would say about 40% i would recommend doing it with Break a few eggs http://classicdb.ch/?quest=815

Hit the islands as previously mentioned... the long-term drop rate is about 35-40%, but some people get really lucky and others really unlucky.&nbsp Scroll up and click on the quest items that you have to get to see what mobs drop them at what rate.

The island at 60, 90 has 4 tigers around the edge so you can almost do laps.&nbsp NOTE that you aren't allowed to shoot them from deep water (they always Evade).

The dopr rate i found is about 75%, very easy quest to acomplish. The island on the right is swarming with them!

Where is the drop rate 100% ?

I found the Duroter Tigers round (60,80) aswell, found that the lvl 8 ones had a 80% drop rate but the lvl 7 ones only had a 40% drop rate so stick to the lvl 8 ones and get more Xp aswell. :)

Drop rate seems about one in 2-3 tigers. The southern islands have 3-5 spawn locations

This quest by itself is pretty decent. If you pick up Zalazane, Minshina's Skull, Practical Prey, Solvent spirit and Break a few eggs altogether, then it makes these individually lackluster quests worthwhile.

this quest took longer than i expected. still, the xp was good. also the bloodtalon mobs made good target practice.
