Take the Deadwood Ritual Totem inside Timbermaw Hold and see if one of the furbolgs there will find a use for the item. The Timbermaw will not speak with you unless you are of Neutral reputation or greater with them.

Description

You have found one of the Deadwood furbolg's ritual totems. The totem itself is of non-descript construction, but a palpable sense of despair emanates from it. If there were any object that might best exemplify the corruption that the Deadwood furbolg suffer under, this item would clearly be it.

One of the furbolgs inside Timbermaw Hold may have a use for such an item... that is, if you've earned their trust enough for them to speak with you.

Kernda is under the bridge in the tunnel. She's the only Furbolg blue color. You have to be Neutral with Timbermaw Hold to turn in the quest.

If you are UNFRIENDLY you CAN NOT talk to them yet. You have to be NEUTRAL. To become neutral you have to keep killing the deadwood and turning in feathers. Let's say your rep says unfriendly 2670/6000 and after you kill one it says 2675/6000. THATS GOOD. You want the number to go up, because once it reaches 6000/6000 you will become Neutral. I dont know the exact numbers, those were hypothetical.

I hope this helps you Sibunis and anyone else who has trouble finding the NPC Kendra to turn in the totem and complete the quest. Just as you are crossing the wooden bridge inside the hold, at tloc 66,3, there is a lighted pathway on the right that descends into another tunnel. There you will find Kendra and this tunnel leads to Moonglade which I had read that you could reach from Felwood but had never found the path to it before. I hope this helps.

WTF... most of the questions here are idiot. i mean, are u nerds or what? read the quests... u need to be neutral or u cant talk to the npc...

did the quest...quite good, i got like 5.7k xp (i had to grind a lot) btw, 5 feathers give +75 reputation so that makes things easyer. just kill them and collect feathers)

From friendly you will be able to buy special items in Timbermaw Hold, and for each reputation level gained more will become available - like the +15 agi on weap enchant on exalted for example.

I see alot of people referencing turning in feathers here, keep in mind there are items that you can craft at higher reputation levels, but beyond that, there's the whole trinket thing for Exalted.&nbsp If you're turning in feathers to get neutral, if you ever decide to go after exalted, you'll be grinding SO SO much more.&nbsp After revered, the only ways to get rep are the quests and the chiefs, there is no reputation gain from killing regular mobs then, just something to keep in mind )

Not sure when it changed, but the feathers only give 75 rep that makes this one of the most dull things I have ever done in the game. Ugh, its stinks. You kill hundreds of the things to get to neutral. I wish it could be skipped, but alas, its necessary.

Tuned in at 54 got 5650xp 150 rep 85s 2 major healing pots and 2 major mana pots. It looks like he wanders in the tunnel that leads to moonglade.

So just how much rep do you need to go from 'Unfriendly' to 'Neutral'?

I have both of these totem quests, I've been going after Winterfall and Deadwood furblogs and have raised my rep to 2050/3000 and I'm still at 'Unfriendly'.

Do I have to get to 3000?

Granted I'm getting good XP but it's quite a pain. If I'm soloing, I have to go down to the bottom of Felwood.

If I can get a group, I can go through either.

Feathers and beads help but still.....what's the cut-off?

I am at friendly repuatation and "kenda" won't speak to me. I've been in their Hold many times now and this is starting to piss me off. I have their totem and I still can't finish this quest at FRIENDLY status. what am i doing wrong?

finally got to neutral with timbermaw today (their rep grind is zero fun) and turned in this quest.

can this quest be repeated? or does the totem stop dropping? because i prolly had it drop twenty times since i first got it.

and why, oh why, does this start a lvl 45 quest? what 45 is neutral with timbermaw? makes zero sense.

still, at 60 this and the other totem quest got me nearly 10g and 3 bars of timbermaw rep, so i am not complaining.
